Hiya guys. I was watching another show and was just browsing hotstar to see what other options are there. Just tried the 1st episode to see how it goes, ofc choose kya iss show ko after looking at the gist of professor student relationship & I was like, new theme hai,for me, might be interesting to see how they deal with the conflict of interest, propriety 'n stuff.
I didn't expect to be reeled in by the serial though and it was a pleasant surprise for me to become hooked so much that I started binging and just now finished all the portions in syllabus till now & started dealing about out of portion syllabus too 😛.
Usually I don't care much for the actors, whoever it is, if the character is done well I'll be satisfied, not a fangirl, don't follow anyone. I think the ML actor has improved a lot, still there are some things which I don't like, some times dialogues are not enunciated clearly, no offence to the fans. But I have to admit that looks wise, his puppy dog eyes and deep resonating voice ne kuch kuch karte hain zaroor.
The FL is amazing, performance is top notch and I love her dialogue delivery. When she smiles it is like seeing an innocent baby smile, I smile along with her always. Her sister is also very cute & looks apt for the role.
Very impressed with the dialogues of ML, very sarcastic & funny one liners, FL's bhashans are sometimes tiring, though I understand that SS needs someone to repeatedly point out his galat soch & actions towards his mom. His family tho wouldn't do it for their own reasons & certain things which has been indelibly inked in your heart from your childhood needs to be pointed out, that too repeatedly, for you to become aware of the issue and to face it without bias.
Editing is can be improved, BGM is awesome.
I have seen threads bashing the ACP & I understand that shippers don't want kebab mein haddi but I like that Anokhi has at least 1 male character who treats her with respect & can be a support system, among the whole gang of Baba, brother, jeeju, whole sabherwal kaandan males except shaan. If ACP Anokhi relationship is developed it would be nice.
Shaan & Astha look good together & love that both generally share the same values & good intentions.
I don't know how the show is doing trp wise, though I guess the initial drama would have garnered more and now that romance track has started it would be coming down.
This show is like a breath of fresh air with the focus on very important feminist issues, just hope they don't spoil it. They already spoiled Shaurya's character with the latest library scene.
