And jahan tak rahi yeh baat k a teacher should not do this! I think no one should do this ( any gender).

Bit still, a teacher is a human. Why we expect k he should be the symbol of ethics and morality and cant do mistakes.

Actually teaching is a profession that is held in high esteem as a teacher not only teaches some subjects but also imparts life lessons. Students often look up to teachers as role models.

If Shaurya did it on the road, he could be equated with any other man. But inside the college premises such an act puts a bad impression before the other students. A certain decorum must be followed in an educational institution.

Not that teachers don't overstep boundaries, they do. When any other person behaves that way, we question his mentality, but when a teacher does, his eligibility to be a teacher is also questioned.

As I mentioned in the post on MF he is a victim of Childhood Emotional Neglect so he is extremely angry and violent in his adulthood. Till now they behaved more like teacher student. But lately Shaurya is behaving like a scorned lover so it's totally in sync with his character. I am just glad she gives it back and shoved him too unlike other FL. I am not saying he is right. He needs counseling.

Agreed 🤗

Totally, I noticed this & it felt sort of disgusting more than annoying? He was a downright hypocrite for making anokhi feel that she's using Ahir now after she was done with getting favours from Shaurya, then why would it matter to him even if she goes on a freaking date with Ahir? If they hold hands? If they have a friendly chat? A/c to him that's Anokhi's motive right? Ugh!

Im not liking it like anyone else but this side of Shaurya is such double standards 😳

Yes we all do.

And breaking of decorum can be counted in any working place, not just an educational institute.

Last para---- thats what i am saying...why? Mr bajaj if mishandle a women, he is not characterized a bad businesses....in same way, shaurya characteristics and profession can be taken separately.

He is wrong..we all agree. But is he a wrong teacher, no!

Yes, a kid who needs a toy? Im not objectifying Anokhi by ANY means here, I've no intention whatsoever (If peeps would feel offended), Shaurya is not mentally powerful. Then again men are made that way only 😆 He's a different guy when it comes to dealing with his strange emotions. Yeah, he's freaking out because of the loss of the known feeling of Anokhi, the comfortability he has unknowingly, gusseme hi sahi has started developing with her 🤪 Dude needs help!

Yes I agree. He is a Man child who needs to grow up and start expressing his opinions and thoughts in a healthy way by communication instead of throwing hissy fits and temper tantrums. As I said he needs help. But as it is ITV "Love" will cure him.

This is what irks me 😵 I mean SAAKK is different, they introduced the ML as a chauvinist & female lead as a courageous & strong character. Then the dude falls low & 'LUURRVVV' will save him ☠🤦🏻 For once something more logical? Perhaps self realisation? Oh kay.. If they make him understand his issues & sort out his priorities, comprehend his thoughts, then if he realizes he loves her its okay. But pls not just the 'Love medicine' 👀✋🏻

ASR and SSO had online fan following more than TRP audience if I remember right both those shows were never high on TRPs may be once or twice a couple of tracks might have brought it to the fore.

If I recall at least during ASR's time there were lot of members in that forum who raised concern about his behaviour and manhandling though that didn't do much to the execution of the actual show. I am not sure if concerns were raised regarding SSO.

Besides Gul set a pattern of toxic masculinity (and continues to do so) and the promos of this show claims to aim at the opposite, let's see how they take it forward.

This show already has a good online following without all that manhandling and the execution here has not even romanticised it thankfully however I do hope they stop this soon because it is quite unpleasant to watch.

And to what extent. The production house literally thrives on encouraging such behaviour of male leads. Forget handling subjects with care, they believe in representing a world where such behaviour is the result of mommy issues / daddy issues/family issues or whatever.

Romantic Bg score and Marks on the body of female leads is the maximum effects of manhandling they try to represent.

I remember I was very young when I watched IPPKND and although I enjoyed but I would still feel a sort of anger inside me when ASR acted like that. But with SSO I watched here and there and I would go mad seeing him acting like that.

Still people go like Shivika Shivika...and I go like what is wrong with the audience.

And now as I watched Saakhi scene today, I blv that apart from that particular pull, where Shaurya grabbed Anokhi's arm and turn her around, I was fine with most of the touches.

Dont take me wrong.

Anokhi should definitely loathe Shaurya but today Shaurya was trying to touch only to make her listen which I know is wrong as well but if you notice his expressions carefully you will feel that even he was aware he shouldn't touch her, she is not appreciating it and that's where I see the difference.

The depiction.

Makers are trying to highlight the flaws of character instead of encouraging it.

There is a difference.
