No matter what, he has no right to question Ahir either about his intentions. It's just becoming too much of manhandling, pulling, and insulting.

@bold: Agreed. Anokhi is an adult and it is upto her who she decides to gets close to. I thought Shaurya was different in the sense that no matter how angry he might be, he will not cross a certain limit with a woman.

I too think the CVs are trying to cater to that particular segment of viewers. I watched those shows in bits and pieces and could only cringe with all the manhandling.

i Don't think he is crossing the line if you look at it from his perspective. As I mentioned in the post on MF he is a victim of Childhood Emotional Neglect so he is extremely angry and violent in his adulthood. Till now they behaved more like teacher student. But lately Shaurya is behaving like a scorned lover so it's totally in sync with his character. I am just glad she gives it back and shoved him too unlike other FL. I am not saying he is right. He needs counseling.

Yes he needs counselling, and introspection followed by a sincere apology to Anokhi. Not like I didn't mean it, said in anger. And henceforth learn to respect his boundaries.

This show is full of ironies ...sic college ke owner don't want their dils to work...and Like.. how shaurya was protecting babli from her husband. N he wants to know anokhi ke papaji ki story. Arre bhai tum bhi vaise hi banne ke raaste par ho. Probably papaji and his damaad also had some childhood issues which won't be revealed to us.

Seriously, he is a professor. He should understand that he has anger management issues and seek help. Not take it out on an unsuspecting student. He has no right to manhandle her, not even when she becomes his girlfriend.

Your last para cracked me up. Papaji and his damaad are also redeemable. Once Shaurya and Anokhi are married, he should take his FIL to a counsellor.

ASR and SSO had online fan following more than TRP audience if I remember right both those shows were never high on TRPs may be once or twice a couple of tracks might have brought it to the fore.

If I recall at least during ASR's time there were lot of members in that forum who raised concern about his behaviour and manhandling though that didn't do much to the execution of the actual show. I am not sure if concerns were raised regarding SSO.

Besides Gul set a pattern of toxic masculinity (and continues to do so) and the promos of this show claims to aim at the opposite, let's see how they take it forward.

This show already has a good online following without all that manhandling and the execution here has not even romanticised it thankfully however I do hope they stop this soon because it is quite unpleasant to watch.

Ikr; I mean we all loved when he was so respectful of her consent; like boundary was one thing I felt he would have respected even if he wasn’t a professor. He isn’t that kind of a man who manhandles or doesn’t respect boundaries.

I feel writers are definitely messing with this aspect of his character.

Even i have a problem with touch, i think we are taking it too far.

If everyone has watched ekta, gul and currently many show, they know what kind of extreme manhandling is done. These touches ,yes doesnot go with initial characterization of shaurya, but even are not out of character or butchering or messing up of the character due to any rating. Its still within the boundaries of how writers presented him.

We cant compare him with asr or other heros,they were extreme.

We know that he is going through emotional conflicts . Usko khud nahi pata what he feels ,so he is blaming anokhi for everything!

Not defending without consent touches but, its not out of blue for me! Its within path of story!
