What I kinda feel is that this whole don't call me sir started developing the moment he saw Anokhi with the ACP talking freely. First when Ahir visited Vineet's place and Shaurya found them talking outside, the look was damn intense and then when he saw the duo in ACP's car, that was the highest irritation point of Shaurya lol.

What I think is that he felt not exactly angry per se but highly disappointed that the girl who scolds him, lectures him and taunts him with so much right is now expressing the same kind of rights in a very different yet polite way to another man. Those rights which he subconsciously felt were exclusively his are now being taken away from him and he is having a difficult time digesting this fact. So he now feels the need to establish a more informal relationship with her because clearly, he is falling for her and how!

Also, Shaurya is a completely possessive man and tbh, the two of them have never respected that student-teacher boundary and now that Shaurya thinks that he has finally resigned as a lecturer and is no more a professor to her, he perhaps couldn't stop himself from making that request.

I don't know if any of this makes sense, but this is what I feel.

But makes me wonder if he would have requested this if he hadn't seen Anokhi smile around or have a good time with ACP?

Also do u think he thought about this earlier ? Or just blurted what he felt at the moment??

@bold - tbh i thought right after she questioned him - toh aapko kya bulau, he got toungue tied. He knew the answer. He wamted to be called Shaurya, but didn't know how to ask for it. That's why the awkwardness. I dont think he felt like what did I do. Because he kept repeating...you must keep trying...muuuuust keep trying..🤣🤣

LOL you know I was wondering this very thing because it felt really random but somehow that makes it better because now, he is just saying whatever comes to mind. Usually Anokhi is the one that speaks without thinking but today it felt like he was. He also asked if she's worried what people will think if they see them together. So maybe it's also driven by the fact that he wants to lessen this age gap between them and her calling him sir constantly reminds him that he's older than her and she sees him as older. I thought we would only get this scene much later and at first thought it was maybe too soon. But now I think it's cuter to see him asking her to stop calling him sir before they have any relationship at all because he has no explanation for why she should and he was so flustered.

Darr hogaya hoga professor ko ki sir zoned for life naa ho jaaun isliye he wants her to call him something else

P.S. I think he did not plan it already or had it anywhere in the back of his mind. It came out at that moment. Plus he wants to have a little more casual relationship with her than the professional one (woh waise thi hi nahi🤣) so that maybe she gets a little more comfortable with him and maybe, he learns more about her because in today’s episode, he was wondering about Anokhi’s equation with her father. That’s what I thought when I watched the epi the first time but my opinion changed later because I felt Shaurya’s falling for her and that’s why he wants to be addressed something else Anokhi se zyada toh main confused hoon🤣

I think he would have eventually asked her not to call him sir, but maybe not so soon. The ACP situation just fastened it.

And I definitely think that this was a build up of feelings for him, seeing Anokhi being so informal with the ACP in a more free way and then trying finally push came to shove when she said no about sitting in the car with him because he thought that she wants to go in a special car with a special person, clearly indicating the ACP but Anokhi being so naive and oblivious, didn't get tje special reference lol🤣

I think it was an in the moment thing and not something he set out to do and I think it is the ACP's presence is what actually make him act on his thoughts otherwise I don't Shaurya would be this expressive if anything his first instinct might have been to bolt and place a distance but on the other hand he also seems to be very perceptive especially when he actually that they knew about each other based on the circumstances they have been placed together in so he probably acknowledges at least to himself that the teacher-student equation is long broken and it probably exists only in Anokhi's "sir" now😆
