Chapter 7

Jodha left the college as she wasn't interested in attending anymore classes for the day... She didn't even wait for her friends, she covered her face with her dupatta and walked, Jalal saw her leaving he felt bad... While walking to the bus stop Jodha was only thinking about, Jalal sitting beside her when she opened her eyes, she didn't care much about what Surya said.

Jodha reached home, her mother got worried seeing her swollen face, Jodha explained to her not to worry, it's a very slight wound and the swelling will go by morning... She got into her room and shut the door, she looked herself in the mirror and tried to recollect the incident... She was talking to Surya but her eyes were still watching Jalal, the minute she took her eyes off him the ball hit her, then this question raised in her mind, as Surya said did he purposely hit the ball on me, she got busy thinking about the same thing again and again.

Jalal and Mirza

Jalal too left college, he directly went to meet Mirza... What's the matter Jalal, I am sure it's something about Jodha, these days you come to meet me only to discuss about her said Mirza... Very true Mirza... Fine, tell me what happen? Why do you look upset questioned Mirza... Jalal told him about how Jodha got hurt, that's ok Jalal it wasn't intentionally so forget it, no Mirza that's what my worry is, I don't know why but I did it intentionally... What? Questioned Mirza... Yes, I kicked the ball purposely on her, but what made you do the Jalal asked Mirza who was shocked by Jalal's behaviour... She was busy talking to a guy, I am not sure who he is, may be her classmate but I didn't like that, she was watching me play but when her eyes moved from me, I don't know why I got so angry and kicked the ball on her... Jalal when did you come? Asked Atgah khan, Mirza's father, abhi chaacha, replied Jalal...(In this story Atgah Sabh is Humayun's younger brother)... Come with me, said Mirza they both drove to a cafe.

Ordering two Cappuccino they sat down, why you got me here? Asked Jalal, I wanna discuss something with you Jalal and I don't need any disturbance that is why I got you here replied Mirza... Upfront I am asking you, are you in love with Jodha? He questioned... Don't talk funny, do you think I can ever fall in love with someone? Come on Mirza, she is like any other girl I have been flirting, just that I have challenged her, I am kinda trying to impress her that's it... Mirza said Cool, then answer my question... Tell me why you have her photo in your wallet? Why you got irritated seeing her talking to another guy? Come on Mirza, stop talking nonsense I wonder how can a person who know me so well can talk rubbish... Mirza said fine, drink you coffee and go home, think what I asked and you will get an answer, They drank cappuccino and left the cafe, Jalal dropped Mirza and went home.

Jalal reached home, he just said hi to his mom and locked himself inside the room... Why am I unable to come out of her thoughts? He questioned himself... Just because I wanna win the challenge, and I am in the process of making her fall for me he tried convincing himself with this answer, Another question which raised in Jalal's mind was; then why you got angry when you saw her talking to someone else? I, I don't know that doesn't mean I am in love with her he said to himself and shut his eyes trying to avoid those thoughts.

Within seconds Jalal opened his eyes and took out Jodha's photo from his wallet, a cute smile occupied his lips while looking at the photo and he recollected how he got her photo... Flashback; During summer vacation, he once had to visit college, because history lecturer had asked him to come... He walked inside the staff room spoke to his lecturer and he decided to take a walk inside the campus, while walking he kept throwing and catching his bike key, it fell down and when he bent down to pick it up he found a photo, Jalal turned to see the photo and he saw a beautiful girl in it, he kept the photo in his wallet and searched for her all over the college but didn't find her from then her photo is in her wallet.
