I still feel the pole he was holding is Rani Sa . It was about to fall on Rani and he held it. So Rani Sa only behind the killing incident and Rani got hurt.

Writers have already degraded Veer. As far as I think Veer knows that Rani Sa done the accident and that's why he is hiding it. I think only Rani Sa sometimes Dikvijay know the truth.

But if Veer doesn't get to know Rani Sa is behind this killing scene, then again no progress in the story.

I agree with the pole symbolism. I thought Veer doesn't know that Ranisa has done the accident. I thought Ranisa has fed him some other story. But based on his dialogues today, it seems like he does know something...
