Apparently not Arshi. Had been seeing bits and pieces of the show on instagram already but checked out more today. Definitely a tough cookie with abandonment issues though because his mom left him and he was told it was to pursue her career and the dad is spineless. Thus, the resentment. Not the MCP trope I was expecting at all but the bias against woman who prioritize career is there. I guess that is the base conflict of their love story. BUT his family are a bunch of assholes though. I'd get why the fans are so pissed that the show was presented as such.

Which other show are you talking off? SP legit had an original to copy off and they STILL managed to mess that? 😆

Shaurya's ch did this whole behaviour change in 20 eps man. I had to literally watch a few eps to get it. In the beginning eps..he is an asshole of the highest degree. You'll see him vwry casually ask his girlfriend to leave her career to prover her lowe and support his family when they put restrictions on bahu but let daughters free..

But boom!! You move some eps ahead.. basically when the fl..anokhi starts going to college and they basically meet. When the love story begins..

I've seen the mehndi one too but there was one place where the dude goes too far off 🥱. That was toxic af! If anything this one should have gotten the flak instead of SAAK.

Obv did't watch the initial episodes of SAAK. Caught bits on insta and the forum only told be that he told his fiance that if she chose to continue her career abroad, they couldnt be together. Didnt know he said to "prove her love" though. That would make it an asshole level surely. Wasnt his fiance working with him at his institute too? I saw more of the later epis and he has definitely been reasonable for the most part, even with the FL. Actually listens to her and apologizes when he needs to. Even while the FL just goes off at him😆.

Caught a scene of the leads on insta and it had my attention. Whoever wrote and excecuted it did a great job. They tool a cliche 'hair caught in shirt button' scene and made it into something else. Had a laugh and there was romance too. Credit where its due lol. I'll keep an eye out for this show too. Pehle gotta catch up on KTLS.

Nikki, the show I was talking about is that new blindwa - apparently the promos showed both the leads as nice and normal, and their initial meetings to be sweet, not the cliched screechy-FL and hot-tempered ML, but in the initial eps at least the story was such that they had the cliched "arrogant ML meets annoying bhashan devi FL" trope...so people were disappointed. IDK if that's changed at all now since I haven't been keeping up, but in week 1 people were already annoyed at the show not being what they thought it would be 🤣

Also, SAAK, has that broken thing going on where the ml is supposedly broken Because as you said mommy dearest left when he was 6 and fl's fav teacher is the mommy dearest of ml. So that is another angle they're going for.

The script is brilliantly written as in the dialogues are👌👌 but the family of both ml and fl is assholish to the degree of infinity...

And another plus point is that actors can act😆 clearly a rarity on itv now a days..

For mehndi show, the ml literally ties fl on a chair and puts in front of speeding truck to scare her into leaving the city🙂🙂🙂 and whatever might the people say, i see zero chemistry between them. There's this golden rule that every story should follow, if you have a asshole mcp as ml yoh put a strong, like really strong fl with him. In this show, the fl is strong but can't seem to handle or as itv would say "tame the tiger".

Also, nikks as i said na, when anokhi comes to shaurya's college na, by that yime they flipped his personality 180 degrees😆

Arshi, is the blindwa show any good?? Should i have a look at the clips or waste of time???

I have seen few clips of all these shows

I liked the tashaan in Mehndi one. Chemistry ka toh nhi pata as they did not have any romantic scene yet or i have not seen their any romantic scene. But i like the way both male and fl are giving takkar to each other.

I liked the chemistry in saak but they are more cute than hot.

In blindwaa i like the ml only. Did not like fl.

Watching molkki as well where i m liking chemistry between leads..

Dhairya, I haven't watched blindwa, but judging by what people say on the forum, they love the ML and his bro but are already skipping the FL's (solo) scenes bc she, her accent, and her family are all annoying lmao 🤣...also apparently Mr Blindwa is a world-class photographer (which is fine, I guess) but he's also a superhero who can jump into a river to save some drowning person even though he can't see...and he is super rich, super nice, super handsome, and his only "flaw" is his blindness, except it doesn't really seem to be holding him back since he's the aforementioned superhero who is also a perfect photographer, so personally I don't really get the point of the concept...why would his lack of sight be an issue when it comes to his marriage - he seems to have every other asset these MLs need 🤣

Also apparently this is also a remakewa, and the OG story is 🤣 because at some point (spoilers in case anyone cares and wants to watch this show...er...blind 😆) the girl (his wife) donates her eyes to him and becomes blind herself, but at this point his mother pretends to him that she's died (because evil, I guess), so he can now see but he thinks his wife is dead, and his mother's trying to marry him off to someone else, and his wife is alive but now blind, so he has to find and recognise her based on their previous connection, and then IDK if she also gets her eyesight back or not bc I laughed so hard I stopped reading the rest 🤣 Apparently it never occurred to this super rich family to see if there was any chance of an eye donation before his mahaan wife comes along
