Very small chapter but very nice Stuti.

Different kinds of trauma affects people differently.

Arnav had watched his mother set herself on fire and die. This has left a deep impact on his young mind and his fear of fire.

Reading Khushi's past and how dealt with Shyam's physical, emotional and sexual abuse is heart wrenching.

Seeing Arnav unconscious, Khushi feared for her punishment and it was even more heart breaking to read how she thought she will be punished here too.

These two surely are bonding nicely and hopefully will help in healing each other gradually.

Back to the story.

Watching a parent burn herself with his own eyes is the biggest nightmare and punishment to him. I thought, his father also died in the same incident.

The trauma is one side. He might thought he is unworthy and that is why his mother has decided to abandon him and kill herself.

Where were Anjali and Akash at that time?

They doesn't seem to be as affected as Arnav had.

Lot of counselling and support will help them get better. Hope he is getting counselling. Payal and Akash were a constant support. Now Khushi will join the group.

Khushi better tell Arnav that she knows Shyam and she should at least wonder what he was doing in Arnav's house. If he is married to Anjali it is even more so the reason to inform Arnav that how evil Shyam can get.

The chapter was short but verycrucial. Finally we got to see more into Arnav and Khushi's past.

Poor Khushi is still so afraid of everyone's anger because of Shyam😡

Good to know Arnav did not misunderstand Khushi and he believes that it was by mistake.

Khushi got so used to being punished for everything, that she expected she would be punished here as well. Arnav put those fears to rest.

Arnav’s mother died by burning herself and the incident damaged Arnav beyond repair and till date as I think his father followed her they didn’t for once think abt their children whom they left behind.
