ZEE5 comes up with new content to entertain the audience. One unique attribute of ZEE5 is that they create spin offs of their most popular TV shows and they have been a raging success, first with Jamai 2.0 and now with Qubool Hai 2.0. The series is all set to release and will see Karan Singh Grover and Surbhi reprise their roles as Asad and Zoya in a new and different scenario.
Karan recently opened up about the TV show being aired as a web series and shared, “There are a lot of differences and lot of similarities in the television show and the web series. When it comes to web series we know what is the character's arc and how we need to play it entirely.”
He further comments and says, “But it changes when we shoot for a television show as we get an update on audience's reaction daily. Also, I didn't really shoot with anybody except for Surbhi from our previous cast, even though we all in the same season we never shot together. I miss shooting with my sister and Amii, I mean Shalini Aunty, as they have become like family to me because we kind of did the show for a year and shot every day.”
Directed by Ankush Mohla and Glen Barretto, the series will feature a new rejuvenated chemistry of Asad and Zoya and by retaining the original leads Karan Singh Grover & Surbhi Jyoti as them. It will also feature Arif Zakaria and Mandira Bedi in pivotal roles.
The 10 episode romantic drama Qubool Hai 2.0 premieres 12th March on ZEE5.

Karan Singh Grover and wife Bipasha Basu never shy away from flaunting their ‘monkey love’ on social media. From dreamy vacations together to adoring posts dedicated one another this couple certainly knows how to set relationship goals. But when it comes to work the two haven’t been seen on screen together again after they got married in 2016.
As one of the most popular couples in show business one would certainly expect them to be hounded with offers to work together, but apart from collaborating for two projects the couple never got around to signing a third one.
Karan, however, has an explanation when asked about working with his wife again. Talking to Times Of India the actor said that it is his wife who doesn’t want to work with him. After their last collaboration for the 2020 web series Dangerous and their film Alone before that the couple has not given their nod to another project together he revealed.
He tells the publication, “I would love to work with her all the time but I don't think she wants to work with me. She loves me in everything and seen me every day and every night. So I think she would like not have me sit on her head while she's working, so I guess that’s why. We have responsibility towards everyone who loves us and we try out best to our best. I don’t think she wants to work with me again! If I was living with myself for 24/7 then maybe even I would want to take a break.”
So for now fans can certainly drool over their ‘monkey love’ on social media till Bipasha Basu finally decides to working again with her actor husband.
