@bold - possibly you are right and there is just a sense of presence and no attraction-attraction even now. Honestly, its difficult to say, because as KV said in his starting interviews that the show wont go Over the top. They will try to keep real. So they arent giving us any scenes from which we can make out of there's any attraction or not. But they certainly show us how Anokhi lets him in her personal space. That should mean something. Because yes, she was a little uncomfy, like her expression did look like someone new touched me. But she let him too, beacuse she knew his intentions weren't wrong. I guess that is what Shaurya was wondering, as to how she let someone who she just met few minutes back touch her hand. But he didn't say anything as it wasn't his decision.

I think maybe that was along the line of so no eye locks for 5-10 mins or cliched scenes. They do show eye locks and scenes which we can make out they are attracted towards each other. Attraction not in the physical sense but intellectual or just understanding sense as well. In his bday party, she just kept on staring at him and his every move. She realized when he lied and how he wanted everyone to have fun. She saw his fun side. He too kept looked around to find her and when he met her eyes, there was a slight smile/smirk - the sort where you both get caught trying to look for each other.

Im glad shaurya didn't say anything bc its not his place to but he just kept on staring lol 😆

I guess what im trying to get at is that I think they will show the journey in a more realistic way so not love right away but a certain pull towards each other which wont be felt w Ahir. At the same time, we will get the sweet moments in between of half hug/hug/1-2 second eyelocks and fairy lights or dance haha I think it will be odd if they show physical attraction right away as well. As a professor, I think it will be against Shaurya's character, however, I am keen to see how that aspect also progresses further. It's been knowing, relating, understading, trust so far...which will built deeper as time progresses.

Anokhi reacts whenever professor says something. Even in the ragging incident when he said nothing, she was just looking at him the entire time.

When he helped her to help himself, she was again looking at him the entire time to express her thanks. Im okay w the MU that Anokhi thinks its ahir who helped her bc she has tried to be polite too many times in thanking him but he's just been rude.

Anokhi has already started to analyze him as well. She wanted to tlk abt him at night w her maam when astha was in trouble. Who tries to tlk abt someone else at 11pm at night, if they didn't move you? It wasn't like let me vent abt my professor, it was like "i dont get this guy"

I think there's a sense of presence but not attraction. Since they did mention pyaar ki shuruat, meaning not pyaar yet, but the start - journey towards it ...i think it will come up.

They are on a whole diff level now w her trusting him enough to have him in the same space as her i.e. touch her. When ahir was helping her, she seemed irked like uncomfortable but still allowed him to clean up. When she saw Shaurya saw that, she was concious at that and again staring at him.

There's trust and sense of haq with which they tlk to each other, tell each other things, cut hair off, or just barge into his office to tell him off, bring flowers for him

I'm just ranting now but this is such a good start

Spot on! I think Anokhi recognizes people who she thinks will help her. Even the small scene where she goes to ask him if there is any job she could do, though he correctly asked if she thinks he is admin, showed that she relies on him to guide her. She observed him on her first day at college speaking to other students and seemed to note that he is a good professor and that he is different with others. I think a part of her does want to experience that side of him which is why she says "don't discourage me" and was disappointed that he threw her out of his class. He isn't able to be a good teacher to her and guide her like the other students because of his perception of her as Aastha's student. I think after the whole media fiasco, that has been changing and he is starting to accept her as more his student so I think the first steps in their story will be him behaving with her the way he does with others.

Touch is so interesting between them. In the initial episodes, he would always immediately remove his hand even if he was just trying to stablize her or trying to comfort her during after the ragging. She on the other hand never seemed bothered by it. Since the bouquet scene, she has been more hesitant with allowing him to touch her. Not sure what to make of it because sometimes she herself hugs him and other times she removes his hand herself. But it seems that whenever she is upset with him, she doesn't let him touch her which fits with her character given the type of interactions she has seen between men/women in her life.

Spoton!

She was like "why does he behave this way w me only" and he even recognizes that. He said in the car that astha is not letting him be a good human or teacher, which was meant for anokhi.

Touch has been extremely interesting between them. They were arguing abt Astha and when he held her in his arms, she was shy/almost taken aback or didnt know how to react. But when he inadvertently hurt her, she removed his hand and didnt let him touch her at all. To which, he was good about. She said stop and he stopped. She lets him touch her when shes not upset but also removes it when it's over done like in the case of the riot. Im glad he cleared that he's not interested but in the interest of keeping her safe he is doing that. Im keen to see if n the future she will still get him to not hold/touch her bc shes been doing that quite often recently.

Yeah, today also she removed his hand. But that was again because she was pissed at him. She felt like he didn't take enough efforts to find Aastha. They had an argument and she was mad at him 😆. She always removes his hand when she's mad at him. I have noticed that whenever she has an argument with him, she dosent want to be touched.

Other times, she is moreover less okay with it . And even when she removes his hand, she is never uncomfortable with it. Atleast I have never seen her uncomfy.

yup, its always like im mad at you dont touch me, and then he sometimes still does and then doesnt. He's very good at knowing when she wouldnt want him to touch or not touch her.Even if he puts his hand on her, she never irks at him or makes a face and shows uncomfort like she did w Ahir. There's an obvious comfort level. When he cut her hair too, she was pissed but she wasnt like "how dare you touch me or my hair" and he obs felt bad and wanted to tlk abt it and seemed like wanted to apologize.

However, when he doesnt touch her or make contact, she notices that too like in the car. When he saw him put his hand behind her and gave him the look, he removed his hand. but she noticed his efforts to NOT touch her and maintain distance.

I'm also glad that he clarified that he has no interest in touching her and that he is always really respectful of her space when she doesn't want him near her.

@bold I think until the time he unintentionally hurt her, she only saw him helping her so she didn't mind him touching her. The fact that he hurt her was maybe a trigger to the abuse that she has faced herself and has seen her mother and sister face. So it might not even be consciously but I think that's why she has been putting distance between them physically. Once she learns that he is the one who saved her life, I feel like it'll be back to square one. His act of saving her will rectify his mistake of hurting her in her mind. Her scar is barely there anymore and I feel like as soon as the scar disappears, she will also be back to feeling comfortable with his touch.

I think she was okay with touching again after he apologised during fairy lights scene. Beacuse right after her - "dont touch me" , he waited for sometime , post which we all saw how he made her stop with her protest and let him help her. She had become okay , because after that she also herself held his hand when they had a heated argument about Aastha. Post that she let him comfort her when the dead body came and also half hugged him. She was all comfy till he cut her hair 🤣. And then riots me she was reaching out to him herself till he wanted to leave the place and they fought. From what I noticed about her is, she gets all "dont touch me" till she's angry. Once her anger cools, she dosent protest.

Yes, you're totally right! My favorite little moment between them during the fairylights was her being so upset with him that she was not even letting him touch the tangled lights and kept pulling them away from him whenever he tried to help 😆 and he was like "arre" so confused. But after that she let him help her, even though they were still fighting about Aastha. Tbh I love this element between them because it is also very realistic. When someone is angry of course they wouldn't want the other person near them.

yeah, he technically didnt "hit" her as she said but I'm also glad that he apologized for the mistake and for the MU. However, his anger and behavior of throwing the flowers wasn't justified. She certainly didn't appreciate that she went out of her way to get him the flowers and he just tossed it. However, I loved how he clarified that the reaction was neither for her or the flowers.

Also, we give attitude to those who we even want to give attitude to. If i didn't care abt someone and wasnt mad at them, I wouldnt give him an attitude i would just be like "you dont deserve my energy" so Im going to ignore you. But here, she legit did give him an attitude. I'll be keen to see how this physical space dynamics will proceed.

I also think Astha's my son is nice and has a narm dil jaap will melt anokhi too and believe the same, eventually.

Yes, it was soo realistic. TBH that moment was something i wanst expecting but my fav Shakhi moment from the show till date. No hype about it and they didnt go an extra mile to promote it so the natural ness of it really takes the cake away for me. It was so well done. I wish shaurya does change his showing her a finger or hand when he wants her to stop thing. I think that's what people do to kids or another way of man handling a women t get her to stop. So i wish they change it by him just showing her to stop by his words or something.
