You are absolutely right due to trp reasons a lot of good shows goes back to cheesy dramas instead of the refreshing story lines that start with! Just look at shows like IMMJ2 and Barister Babu good shows for twisted! And now GHKKPM too....

GHKPM is not twisted! It is actually following the regional version word by word!

Were you expecting seeing so much family drama and abuse of the heroine? I mean Virat married Sai so that she can be a doctor with the peace of mind! It was basically a DEAL!
Sai never promised him to tolerate his family verbal and physical abuse!
It wasn't her responsibility to please his family. First didn't inform his family of their marriage beforehand that not get pot her to carry!
It was supposed to be show of strong characters and their professional achievements and success but right all we can see is a love triangle with sister- in- law, the brother and his wife and ofcoirse in laws abusing their own daughter and daughter in law!
And their is a reason that makers made regional version because not every audience love dog blood dramas!

It feels they are just translating it to Hindi and that's it! It hurts my brain to see and than I just started watching highlights and now I am limited to Precaps!
When the show was promoted by Rekha Mam and the song theme the show was after I actually had huge expectations but in the end it all came back to kitchen politics and that's really disheartening

Its sad. Sairat has a lot of potential but their growth is limited. Yes. They are just translating it.
I think it's a bengali tv thing... Coz even the other remakes have the same issue, OG version has poorly executed ronance but hindi has made changes to make it sensible and included more romance in them.
But yaha toh

Sai as a would be DR is solving more cases in his house in few months than he has after living there for xx number of years.
