Rank in order of box-office pull

All these actresses debuted in the 2000-2009 decade and are still mostly going strong. Rank them in order of box-office pull.

My order:

1. Kareena

2. Deepika

3. Katrina

4. Vidya

5. Priyanka

6. Kangana

7. Anushka

8. Sonam

The irony is Kangana's box office pull, despite her tall claims, is just marginally better than Anushka's and Sonam's! in fact, I'm not even sure about Anushka, just better than Sonam probably!

I am really bad at this 😆. How do we determine Kareena's box office pull? Unlike other actresses on the list she has never done a single movie beside Chameli and maybe Heroine where she had majority of the star responsibilities. Even in movies where she worked with much lesser stars the story focused on them rather than her. So are we saying she has box office pull simply because she was part of movies that did well? Because if that is the case then Katrina needs to top the list, and then others like Jacqueline can also join the discussion.

What about Veere di wedding? Let's face it, she was the bankable star among the 4 and Heroine opened at 7 crores way back in 2012. Also, I agree Katrina needs to feature in this list but not Jacqueline because we are only talking about 2000's heroines.

1) Deepika/Katrina (Katrina with heavy reliance on director/co-actor).

2) Kareena/Priyanka (pre US exile would be before Kareena).

3) Kangana/Vidya

4) Anushka/Sonam

If Anushka/Sonam made the list then Alia definitely needs to be on there too. She is irritating but we can’t pretend she doesn’t exist either. I would add her as numero 2 or 3. And for much younger audiences she’d most likely be numero 1. All the actresses on here pull gen Y + audiences. Don’t have the stats but Alia has most likely the biggest pull amongst gen z.
