This is the result of miscalculations by CVs and spoiling the tracks without redeeming characters when they should have.
How can just bits of romance alone work.
The TV audience would want the story to move along fairly well too. The romance is mostly enjoyed by a different age group or fans of the onscreen couple.
Still if they try to give closure yo those unanswered questions, they can salvage the story but who can tell them..
Rekha, that's the issue. I feel there is no point in resolving these tracks now. Cause unlike fans that watch this show avidly, TRPs auidence don't care that much.
Timing is key. On Jan 26th, the big reveal of the track should have been Shera being none other than Malhar. Track should have kept auidence on its toes if this was Malhar or not. SP show right now has a similar track and TRPs are 2.9 for it. But instead they focused on this badly written mystery of the missing moorthis. Now, what's the point of them revealing who Shera was? People have moved on. I mean they can do it to satisfy fans, it would resolve some issues if they do (though I feel this will be highly unlikely). I'm not even sure if they'll reveal that AS was the one behind Swara's diary.
After Malhar came back, they did the SR and now all the romance, but its just too late. People have moved on. And this bhoot track is balanced and entertaining, but I feel people have lost interest.
Best chance for this show is to shift to a new timeslot and sort of "relaunch" itself. Channel can give some promos and if they do a really good and captivating track, they can attract a new set of auidence.
