NOTE - I do want to see an Anokhi in future who is deeply in love with Shaurya,understands his pain,who is fiercely protective and even vulnerable when it comes to him.
This Shot is just to suffice that because Anokhi and Shaurya does hold the potential of a love like this.

ShaKhi OS - ENDLESS LOVE
Anokhi hummed to herself while icing the cake.Once done she took a moment to appreciate herself for how it had turned out.The Baking Class she attended last weekend seemed worth it and she hoped it would be the liked by the only person for whom she went this much trouble for.
Carefully placing the cake in the fridge,she was about to go and change when the bell rung.It couldn't be Shaurya since he had the key.
Opening the door she was about to hug the person standing in front of her when Aastha Sabherwal stormed inside her home and exclaimed loudly
"Anokhi yeh kya hai?".
Anokhi looked flabbergasted for a moment before she recognised the papers her Aastha Mam were holding.
"Tumhe Oxford aur Cambridge dono universities mein scholarship ke through admission mila hai aur yeh baat tumne mujhe ab tak nahi batayi?".
Perplexed she looked at her as she hasn't told anyone about it yet.
"Don't give your brain so much trouble,I got the notification because I was listed as your Guardian previously".
"Main yeh baat Shaurya ko
bhi nahi batayi hai ab tak".
Anokhi answered sincerely as he was the first person she wanted to share the news and her decision with.
"Kyun nahi Batayi?.This was your dream Anokhi and you are behaving as if this is just a daily occurence ".Aastha questioned.
When Anokhi didn't reply,Aastha let out a disappointed sigh and spoke
"Now I understand.Tum iska response nahi dene wali ho aur itni achi opportunity ko apne haath se jaane de rahi ho,isiliye tumne ab tak mujhe ya Shaurya ko nahi bataya".
"Aisa kuch nahi hai".
"Really anokhi,deadline 5 din baad ki hai.Kisko bewakoof bana rahi ho?".
"Maine bas apna man badal diya hai,main apna masters SIAC se hi karungi".Firmness dipped from her every syllable.
Aastha keenly observed the girl who had been her favourite student for so many years and asked in a soft voice.
"Aur kya main jaan sakti hoon is decision ki wajah?.Tum kyun aisi opportunity ko gawana chahti ho?".
Anokhi didn't want to get inti all this today still the respect she held for her Aastha Mam had her answering
"I am not letting go of any opportunity.SIAC has its own stature in this country and abroad".
"But that doesn't seems to be the reason Anokhi".Aastha stated.
"Toh aapko kya lagta hai kya reason hai?".
"You are choosing a man over your dreams Anokhi.Even if that man is my son.You can't let go of your dreams!".
Anokhi knew this was anyone could decipher from her decision.The same boundations of patriachal society she has run away from,anyone will think she is giving up on her dreams for a man.But she knew she wasn't.Her goals were there,she was just amending them.
And therefore she tried to reason with her -
"Toh yahan rehkar padne se kya career nahi banega mera.
Its not me choosing a man over my career lekin I'll not let the love of my life be alone anymore or think even for a miniscule second he comes second to anything in my life.My career and him both have their own place in my life".
Aastha could see Anokhi had taken her decision yet the woman in her thought she ought to give Anokhi another perespective.
"Think again Anokhi,it's a lifetime opportunity.Think about yourself,I was like you once,I left my dreams for the man I loved and what happened?.Shaan didn't have the guts to stand by me when I needed him too and later Iost my son too".
And that was the last straw for Anokhi.She was trying to patiently make Aastha Mam understand her point of view and why had she taken the decision.But it was time she understood some truths too.A wave of protectiveness surged inside her as she reminsced the pain and loneliness her Shaurya has been through all these years.
Bracing herself Anokhi stated
"Mam I really respect you and Shaan Sir and you have my gratitude for what all you have done for me but please never ever compare Shaurya with anyone else".
"I know it down to my bones that he will stand by me in whatever decision I take.
You are telling me to think about myself but who will think about him?.
"Years ago you left him,I agree you had your reasons but why didn't you fight for his custody ?.You left him in that household knowing the kind of persons they were and Shaan Sir choose his own heartbreak over his son.
I am not saying you both don't love him but neither of you choose to make him your priority and care for his emotional wellbeing.
You know how my father used to beat me whenever I did something against his wishes or raised my voice for studying but you both too have hit Shaurya right where it hurts the most,the little child who yearned for his parents love for so many years,who was fed lies and hatred,who at times was a stranger in his own home
BUT
He is mine and I won't leave him alone.After years he is finally able to live free and I won't be the reason he is hurt nor I will let anyone else hurt him either".
Anokhi finished, fierce determination pouring out of her very being.
Suddenly she was lifted off her feet and the familiar feeling of safety enveloped her as Shaurya's arms enclosed around.
Aastha left quietly closing the door behind her.It was as if someone has put a mirror infront of her.
Shaurya couldn't help but just tighten his arms around her.He has come,beaming in pride as his student was chosen on her merit to the most prestigious universities and wanting to celebrate with the girl he is deeply in love with.
Never In his wildest dreams he would have expected to find Anokhi in not a war of words but of spirits with her favourite Aastha Mam.
His mother for whom he had held anger and disappointment for so many years.The feeling of being abandoned and being neglected by his parents always held him in shackles of pain.
He did know the reasons and the lies he was fed by Devi Sabherwal all these years but still it didn't hold the magicwand to wash away all his sufferings in a jiffy.
He couldn't say it was easy but it hadn't been that difficult either and the reason was the woman he was holding in his arms.
Anokhi she truly was that.Unique,Unstoppable And Unwavering especially when it came to him.To see her fighting his corner,standing tall against that had the potential to hurt him,he was grateful that she was his soulmate.
That eventhough he was engaged to Shagun and people thought it was a love marriage,he hadn't loved her.
Love was he felt for Anokhi,at times terming it a four letter word for all that he felt for her wasn't enough.
Well that was a story for another day,he had more impressing matters to attend to.
"Main,Aap.I didn't mean to Shaurya--".
She was mumbling incorehently and Shaurya couldn't make sense of anything she was saying.She only held him more snugly as he tried to break off the hug so he could look at her.
But he realised the need of assurance in her touch as she burrowed closer so he held her for long moments till she needed for she had him forever.
Anokhi got a hold of herself finally stepping away a little but still being in the confines of his arms.
Not meeting his eyes,she asked in a low voice
"Did you hear everything?".
There was sheen of moisture in his eyes as he pressed a deep kiss to her forehead saying
"Every Single Word".
The simple gesture told her what it meant to him.Content being in his arms,she was about to hug him again when she heard him ask-
"Tumhe kya laga?.I'll ask to choose between admission and me?.
"NO" Anokhi answered vehemently.
"That thought didn't even cross my mind for a second"
"Then why didn't you tell me?.I got to know when the administrative officials called for reference".
"Today marks one year of our togetherness and I wanted to celebrate this day.Just you and me.Tomorrow I would have told you that I won't be joining but will stay here nd do my master's in SIAC".
Shaurya felt overwhelmed with her love,never in his life before someone had chosen to put him first and to be loved unconditionally was an intensely gratifying feeling.
It was time to let her know what he had thought of as soon as he got the call earlier.
He pulled her to sit on the nearby Sofa and crouched down in front of her.
Holding her hands,he said
"Anokhi I had some prejudiced views and you are aware of the reasons as well.But you would never have to choose between me and your dreams.I gave the heads up before coming here and tomorrow we can choose the university ".
Anokhi felt another bout of anger building up as she stood up freeing her hand,she walked back and forth and then marching up to him and
" And us?.It's 2 years Shaurya.A long distance relationship,God knows how that will fare out.As it is there is no dearth of your fangirls roaming around in college".
" Anokhi". Shaurya tried to hold her but she fended off and continued
"Why is everyone hell bent on making me go away?.First Aastha Mam and now you.Don't you know how my father was,how my brother was?.Inspite of being there,I never really felt I had a home and even after coming to Chandigarh when I was able to live my life on my own terms,I never really felt belonged until YOU.Why are you telling me to move?.Why is noone understanding me?".
Shaurya felt the familiar feeling of rage he often did whenever he rembered how her father and brother had treated her but now wasn't the time for it.He needed to calm down his angry kitten so they can get on with their first anniversary celebrations.Oh the things her love made him do.
In one swift moment he pulled her by closer by her waist not letting her escape and said in the tender if voice.
"Tum paagal ho bilkul paagal.Kya se kya soch leti ho?.Itna hi trust hai tum mujhpar?".
Unable to resist himself,he pressed a chaste kiss to her lips and continued
"You know how endearing you are when you are angry especially when that anger is because you can't fathom being away from me.You know me Anokhi so how could you even think that we will be apart for 2 years.As the Director of SIAC,I do hold some powers,I can teach and do my work virtually anywhere from the world".
"You will do that for me?".
Anokhi asked him staring at him in wonder.Till now she has only heard and seen men asking women to make sacrfices and compromises for them but here her man was not only willing but as per his words has already started making arrangments to move with her.
Holding her face in his palms,he answered solemnly,his heart in his eyes
"I will do just anything for you and this is nothing.Its you and me together always".
And with those words he kissed her.A kiss of promise,of endless devotion and the love of a lifetime.
