I voted for Alia as well but what scene in Raazi and Gully boy did you feel Deepika couldn't do justice too?

Unless it’s pathetic acting . I can’t differentiate between above average to great acting ... even if Alia and Deepika are average actors. Atleast Deepika looks good and whatever she wears looks great on her . That way one can tolerate a shitty movie or performances, with Alia one cannot even take that risk . If it’s shitty movie or performance there is no where one can take refuge.

Deepika is also much better dancer and at this point still holds edge over Alia in acting. This may change ... frankly why are we even comparing ?

It took SLB years to find a face that can be Mastani after Aishwarya. Yes, Priyanka May have overshadowed but Alia could never have been an alternative.

Totally echoes my opinion. I can't really differentiate much between their acting skills as both are pretty average when it comes to that. But Deepu is a lot more pleasant to the eyes & doesn't look misfit in any role she has played so far. Be it of a glamorous beauty or a simple girl next door. That puts her a bit ahead of Aloo.

@bold: What a way you put it .... that's EXACTLY how it looked. She blew Alia out of the water just by sitting next to her in that episode. And to think that KJo probably invited them together to make it look like they're "contemporaries" in the same league ... hah.

The entire movie. I don't think Deepika can ever play Sehmat or safeena convincingly.
