Popular Marathi family drama Aggabai Sasubai has won a million hearts with its compelling storyline. The TV show is all set to go off-air and its second season is soon going to entertain the viewers soon. The second season will be titled as Aggabai Sunbai, and the actors of the show Nivedita Saraf and Girish Oak will be seen in different avatars in this new season as well.

The show's close source spoke exclusively to ETimes TV and revealed more details about the upcoming season. The source said, "The second season of Aggabai Sasubai, Aggabai Sunbai, is going to be totally different. Nivedita Saraf, who was earlier playing a housewife, will be seen as the owner of a company. With full confidence, she has now successfully taken over the office. Her on-screen son, Soham will now be working as her right hand. Also, actor Girish Oak, who was earlier seen as a hotelier, will be managing the household chores in his own style. On the other hand, a new chapter has entered Shubhra's life, and she has become a mother and will be taking care of her son Babdu. This new story will highlight how the entire Kulkarni family helps Shubhra to become an independent woman again by giving some practical tips."

The source further added, "Earlier in Aggabai Sasubai, actors like Tejashree Pradhan and Ashutosh Patki played pivotal roles as Shubhra and Soham in the show respectively, but now they are going to bid adieu to the upcoming season. These interesting characters like Shubhra and Soham will be played by newbies. The new season will surely be the surprise package for the audience."
