Now that "I"show of β,I have seen its promo having dil se bgm....that was also an eye catching one,the people who invest their time in such shows will give that a look,no doubt,even story sucks,becoz everyone not watching for story but this immj promo even after being attatched to this show felt like they want audience to run,promos work is to generate interest but immj promo always does ulta.
Yeah I have seen one NIK promo recently,with hansi ban gye bgm amd I mentioned it also here,thats how its trp reached to 1.8 baki pta nhi kaise hai lekin β ke mostly targetted hote hai apni audience ke liye......unki marketting strategy achi hai aur ismein koi doubt nhi hai ye unki trps mein nazar ata hai ki they target audience like bull's eye,they know the lot of their shows and hit them exactly at point.

Still Their trp is 1.1 or 1.2.π So we can't see they're apparently successful. Did you see emli's promo most of the time gloomy boring still 3+ trp.
