In India you used to get all the main channels (Star/Zee/Sony etc.) on one package, but here in the UK in the early days you had to pick, or pay separately for each. The streaming platforms are all doing something similar now - there's Netflix, Prime, Disney+, Hotstar, Voot, SonyLiv, and not to mention the smaller ones like Apple TV etc. If each of them has only one show you want to watch, you still have to pay for them all 🤔 it's ridic. People, esp. young people, aren't going to have the funds to pay for each of those. No wonder illegal streaming is so prevalent.

Babe, it's just the beginning of this ott and stuff na, on a era scale. that's why they're able to charge us so much. Slowly and steadily they're gonna have to reduce charges when competition increases and the rate at which ott industry is booming the day isn't far. Netflix has already started offering "reduced packages"...others also will slowly.
