In ITV when people get some interesting male leads they go behind them, because ITV mostly have female leads centers shows and audiences are also females mostly, that's why some different male leads than regular ITV male leads attract younger generation more. But most of the times makers can't handle the characters consistency and that's why audiences also don't hold their consistency. Most of the new actors who got popularity quickly, got lost and only few stay in ITV for years. Specially those who are doing long running shows from years or Ekta Kapoor's shows, because those male actors have long journey on ITV as far as I seen.
