IDK about that but he and his character were extremely annoying in this film!
Why Rani never falls in love with her attractive-rich and loving husband, but falls for a guy who is crabby all the time and also scares the shit out of her while dining with their respective families , almost revealing they have a thing with each other and more importantly married . Even serial cheaters have some regard for their spouse in public but SRK Character has none for his wife.
masochistic tendencies.
Only a brainless pathetic KJo can make this kind of stupid character and I am surprised SRK and RANi agreed to it 🐷
Dev and Maya's characters were very poorly written. I recently saw the film and it couldn't have been a better film had KJo not fallen into that commercial trap. He wanted to put everything in there to make it a masala film because he was scared of the topic.
I think the ending of the film was different and he had to change it because SRK thought his fans would never accept him being left out in the cold. If I am not mistaken, originally both characters are made to pay for their cheating by being alone and miserable. But SRK had something else in mind and KJo had to oblige.
SRK in hum tumhare hain sanam was worse
Yep. The only scene where he comes off as remotely likeable is the one where he saves his son from the alleged Black Beast ( Rani). I wish she had stayed unconscious. 🤢 Miserable characters, both of them.
KJo should stop making movies about adultery. They just don't work. 😆
I watched it without having any idea that it is the movie about extramarital affair....
Felt so uncomfortable ..
But, their marriages were not working anyway even before those two met ..they should have just divorced after realising they developed feelings for each other instead (didn't they actually met to save their marriages?)
But, someone mentioned Hum tumhare Hain sanam...Yes, I absolutely hated Srk in that movie
Cheating is wrong, but it happens. I don't mind characters who cheat or narratives around cheating. But I found his character selfish, whiny, and unsympathetic.
100%
actually i hate that movie.

On a side note, the scene where they were all at the same restaurant or something with Maya and Dev stealing jealous glances at each other made me literally barf. Got to be one of the most embarrassing, cringey and traumatizing cinematic scenes I have ever watched.🤢
Actually if u see the setting of that scene, it's all so wrong. While Rani is seated across Abhi, SRK is almost like in the same line as her and he is seated in front of PZ. I couldn't understand how he kept looking and PZ had no idea despite her being able to see it in front of her. It was stupid!
Because I like Mitwa so this scene kept coming on and this thing bothers me a lot! Like SRK was an a$$ in that, while his wife was so happy and talking he was making passes at Rani who was embarrassed and didn't know how to react!
