We always end up talking about 90's Bollywood music because we grew up in that era and of course 2000's music is also great. But what about 80's Bollywood music? Any fans here?

I was just listening to this song and OMG I just love it...heard it after ages.

To be fair, "Aap Jaisa Koi" is not an accurate representation of "80s BW music."

It's more of a one-off, and was technically recorded by Nazia Hasan in 1979.

She was very young when she sang this and...... she was anyways much ahead of her time. 👍🏼She went on to become one of the most successful Pakistani pop artists of all time👏 and if I'm not wrong, she never sang again in Bollywood.

Yes, there were few gems, for sure👏, but overall 80s music was quite mediocre and it was perhaps the worst era for BW industry in almost every possible way, be it music, films, fashion etc.

Those who grew up in the 90s are indeed VERY LUCKY, because 90s was the best decade to be a child, because everything about BW (and India) started to change in 90s.... for the better.👍🏼
