In reality...not related to the show...if there is fight for custody of child..many times courts don't support single mothers or fathers..many times families get the control of child citing security and the economic conditions if those single parents can't afford..families gets custody..

In many real cases too ... mother or father leave children...with families thinking the child can live in comfort and luxury..all these happens

astha is unacceptable and wrong to us because we see mother as an unfailing compassionate figure who can never fail her child and fights for her child to the end...but in reality parents too are flawed humans...i only see astha as a person..

as a mother..she has no role in shaurya's life and i don't think makers will force the relationship on us...

Shaurya is completely right in his stand and no one can force him to accept astha .. I hope makers keep it real..

If we keep aside shaurya's tantrums and stupid demand, we must agree that he is correct. A mother who didn't has any role in his upbringing don't have any right on him too.

Also, he is a grown up and they cannot force him to accept her. That's his choice.

But he should give a chance to Astha to explain her POV

Completely agree with your analysis. 👏

So far the writers have done a good job. Aastha is not forcing the relationship on Shaurya. If she was, she would have told him the truth itself when he came with the signed papers or would have tried to act motherly during the admissions episode. She let it be which may have made her look like a bad mother in many peoples eyes but she did not force the matter on him. Aastha tried to speak to him the first time they met after 25 years but clearly he did not want to speak so she backed off.

It’s actually Shaan who seems to be forcing the relationship on Shaurya rather than Aastha. Shaurya is not obligated to accept her as his mother. I do think it will be healthy for him long run to realize she’s not out to get him or ruin his life. Not accepting her as his mother and thinking she wants to destroy him and everything he stands for are two different things. But it’s understandable why he would think that given all the negativity he’s been fed over the years courtesy his aunt.
