Hey all of you, I'm so sorry, I got busy so the update is delayed. Will do so today only

Author's Note : Story would allude to my drabbles so please read those before this in order to understand all the references.

Also, I didn't update for one day and you all have forgotten me

Not done yaar. I get not much feedback on any post.

CHAPTER 2

"Sir I can't come, please understand my situation. I'm so sorry", Anokhi interjected, worry lining her face. Anokhi along with five other students, across India had been selected for the Annual Innovation festival at Stanford. It was the most prestigious entrepreneurship and Anokhi never imagined she could get selected.

But it felt like even the universe itself didn't want her to get that opportunity. Travel and accommodation cost were outrageously high. Anokhi could never afford it. Selected teams and individuals were accompanied by their professors and in her case, Shaurya sir had been given that duty.

It was the first time ever that a student from SIAC was selected for such a prestigious event. Shaurya had to make sure there would be no mistakes now. This was the golden opportunity which could catapult SIAC's reputation a notch higher if Anokhi won.

Though now he knows that Anokhi isn't a liar, he wasn't fond of her or anything. But unfortunately she kept coming in her way in every instance. SIAC has had so many students but he had not even seen any student outside college hours. But Anokhi, she was his father's and Aastha's favourite. That means, he would often see her at his house, taking guidance from Shaan.

Shaurya broke out of his reverie when he saw Anokhi approach his office. He mentally coached himself to not be rude anymore. Despite anything, Anokhi is a star student, academically brilliant. He can't upset her and make her lose focus from the competition.

He sensed worry oh her. Before he could say anything, she announced she can't go for the event. Shaurya was enraged. He tried so hard to not be rude and for what? For this girl to quit on such a big opportunity? Fool she is. He was right about her.

He somehow composed himself and managed to ask why. Anokhi didn't tell him at once, she seemed embarrassed. But finally managed to him that she can't afford it. She knew Shaurya sir wouldn't understand her because he hasn't experienced her situation but to her surprise, his expression softened and he drew closer.

"You don't worry about the expenses, they are covered by the college itself", explained Shaurya. Anokhi felt such an immense relief. She thanked Shaurya breathlessly.

"You're welcome. Now please meet me at the college tomorrow at 8 in the morning, we have to complete the paper work and then leave for the airport. Have you told your family your family that you're going out for three days?", Shaurya asked.

Anokhi felt immense relief that she didn't live at Vineet's house anymore otherwise they wouldn't have let her go. Hostel room was small but atleast peaceful. She responded yes and left to pack for the next day.

The flight went smooth, but way too long. It had been the longest, most tiring flight ever. He looked at Anokhi sleeping beside him, her limbs twisted awkwardly into the small seat. Shaurya knew she didn't get any sleep and would be severely jet lagged once they land.

He stared at her face intently, thinking something to himself.

No, definitely they won't share a room But jo hona hai, woh toh ho hi jayega😏🤣

This chapter was more of a filler one to establish the story. The real content will come from the next chapter.

Shaurya is in a situation where he doesn't hate Anokhi or even like her, he is just irritated by her perptual presence around him. He would often find her at home too, this is why he feels irritated bas.
