Itv has seen many jodis like this tbh...hell sc's career began with one of them. Shivika were iconic.

And the power of these jodis lie in however long people remember them and however long the hype stays. If and ever sharbhi do comeback, will the magic be same as if they back now??

I know but I think the way I look at it is they both have chemistry and can act. The acting part is such a rarity nowadays honestly. Which is a shame because that is what the job is.

@bold the thing is we never got a chance to find that out and that’s why I think she knows there is more to tap. Because as per the TRPS nobody watched them

On TV but they had a craze on online so she might want to pull on that online. We fell in love with Sharbhi because of their imperfectly perfect characters and we won’t get those again. I highly doubt that and have mentally prepared myself if they do get cast again. I know the odds aren’t in our favour but what can my little heart do also if anyone can recast an iconic jodi again it’s Ekta.

I guess they gave best actor to Mr Anupama so figured they should change it up. No show has done a sweep of awards, sab batta-batta sa hai.

@bold that's what I'm kinda stuck on na...this is exactly what hives me hope that they might be repeated. Esp. EK might just give them a online web series or something... miniscule chances but ye dil hai ki maanta nhi

That's the thing that keeps me going - as per TRP aunty audience, they don't know/have not really seen them. So for that audience they'd be a fresh pairing, and then add in the built-in online fandom factor, and IDK...seems like a no-brainer to me but then maybe that's why I'm not Ekta Kapoor 🤔

The characters won't be the same for sure...esp. if they do a saas-bahu. We'll never get Veer again, but tbh I never expected to get a Veer in the first place, so who knows what new character we could get that would capture our hearts just the same? I never expected a Vani after Shivika, and yet here we are...as you say, if anyone can do it, EK can.

I really need to know what Ekta thinks about this and this whole situation honestly. Winds me up not knowing. I mean a tiny part of her business brain must have thought of this.

And I know what you mean they have the ability clearly to create unique characters but they can’t do the same for their storylines which is what is frustrating 😡
