Why did Virat Lie?

When Virat was confronted about his love for Pakhi with complete truth, why did he say this is a lie? There are many faults in Virat, but he is not a liar. Why did he lie? This question is bugging me!! Does any one want to flash some light on it?

He did not lie. Basically he is out of Pakhi now. He has fallen for Sai. He is talking to Sai about present day and Sai is still stuck in his past because he did not cleared out things to her. In fact , he also started disliking the word "deal" because it is not a deal for him anymore 😂

He did not lie. He is talking about the present and he has no feelings for Pakhi. She told that they love each other and as per him that is not true. He is not aware of what Pakhi feels, he thinks Sai is assuming.

Okay, but when Sai retorted his "Sai ye juth hai" with kya Pakhi didi wo nahi hai jiske liye aap ne mujse umeed mat rakhana kaha tha". He kept quiet! Why?

his problem is that he doesn't speak in spasth bhasha, jalebi pe jalebi banata hai!!

He kept quiet because that was the truth initially but now that is not the case. He cannot express in words. He wants Sai to understand that..usne kahan na "tumhe abhi tak logon ko padhna nahi aata, you must learn that"

He is so much in love with Sai - he doesn't even like when she says "we are always on opposite sides" now he wants evrything to be on one side 😂

Because somewhere now the "yoga love" is thing of thing of past.

He has started to fall in love with Sai. And that is also the reason Sai's words have hurt Virat so much. The pain was visible in his eyes.

I think it’s either his belief that both pp and he has moved on in life or his firm belief that he has no love feelings towards pp. his friendly feelings has been misconstrued by Sai..

It’s difficult to understand that IPS officer and an intelligent human being can not clue on PP’s feelings.. he should seriously ask himself why pp keeps on repeating that she has no feelings for samrat and doesn’t know how she feels about his return.. And why she made big deal out of Sai accompanying them??

Coming to his own firm belief, he should seriously ask whether his behaviour towards pp is just friendly? He has unconsciously/consciously allowed pp in Sairat space and let her question sai and never really stood up for sai except for mohit and ladak incidents..

Even in laddak incident he called sai immature...

He is pretty much lying to himself!!
