What a non-answer LMAO. There has to be *something* behind the scenes we're not seeing...she had literally no conviction here to sell the new show or talk about why N5 went off the air.

Why create a show when you're not gonna promote it or want it to succeed.

It's weird. "A new version" of what? The Naagin franchise or N5 specifically? Because it's not really either...😕 this was weird...looks like she was caught off guard by the question (why? it's literally the first thing people will ask 🤔). I mean if EK doesn't feel confident answering this question it leaves you wondering WTH the thought process was behind ending it now. We all know it was coming to an end soon, but the abruptness and the way she cannot answer this question leave me going hmmmmmmm...

I never saw her promote N5 except maybe in the HK days 😆 but maybe she did and I missed it. She did do a whole video about Vani's progeny for the new show tho now I'm wondering if this was a channel decision rather than hers...

Of the naagin franchise I think she has realised she is losing her grip on the supernatural series with her other show not doing well either. The one on Zee. There was no thought process it was a rushed decision and pitched to her in a way she thought would work. And knowing her she has probably kept an eye on what people are saying about and realised they are saying nothing about it. This is a loss for her.

Ig she knows this...the way she behaved and had nothing to talk about the new show. She knows it's just not gonna work out.

I think this is spot on. She's realising the supernatural genre is losing its grip on the audience, so maybe this was a last ditch effort. SP has eschewed supernaturals permanently it seems, and even Zee is back on the family wala vibe. Maybe this is the end of Naagin. If something had to drive the nail into the coffin, glad it will be the vampire show and not N5...

And yeah maybe she initially expected this to be a wild success given PKYEK, but so far it is a damp squib. *rubs hands together in glee* come on TRP day

I think it must have been channels decision kyunki uske baad toh she's forgotten about the show!!
