If she got an opportunity to go ahead in the game by deducting certain amount from the winning amount, even tho she's not a winner- she gets a chance to be in the finale week / moves to the next week. So be it. Fair enough.

I don't think it's unethical or cheap what she did. That was an open chance to gain immunity she earned it.
