@purple Oh, I have not WATCHED KTH but I have heard a LOT OF IT,

Because this show had made Rajeev and Aamna VERY FAMOUS,

Later, when I was doing BA I learnt that this was FIRST INDIAN SERIAL ADAPTATION of

Jane Austen's famous novel PRIDE & PREJUDICE,

But is Bekabee story SIMILAR to KTH?

Because I heard about it too, but I never knew it was REMAKE OF KTH!

Yup bebakee is the remake of EK old serial KTH. Only difference is in bebakee the leads family is muslim and in KTH the leads family is Hindu🤔. Same to same copy of KTH is bebakee in EK insta handle she regularly used to post what is happening in bebakee webseries so I knew all about that. In Bebakee like KTH the FL got married to the ML bestfriend and there is also a love triangle between the ML, FL and ML bestfriend like there was in KTH. Waise I also haven't watched KTH but knew the storyline because of wiki and I wrongly saw some episodes of KTH. I also really irritated when I saw EK bebakee webseries rather than making different show with different themes EK is nowadays making remake of her old shows in the name of webseries😵. People watch webseries to watch different content shows which we never see in TV since TV audience differs from web audience but EK is making remake of her old shows in the name of webseries 👎🏼 and calling it a different content driven show👎🏼. I think only some webseries of EK are better rest all are crappy since they are either remake of other older shows like bebakee, crash or vulgur shows like parushpuram and gandi baat👍🏼

Nowadays sister triangle is not a big deal. Not only EK only Ph are also using the same sister triangle story like shastri sister, kala tika, ek muthi aasman, current imli, sisila badalta rishton ka part 2 mishti, pari and ruhan story and many other shows👍🏼

And somehow, when A CONCEPT GETS POPULARIZED by ONE PH,

The other PHs start using them, because they know that PARTICULAR CONCEPT will,

Garner them TRPs in their shows!

If you are talking abt that new hero then yes he is in anupamaa's original version sreemoyee his name in original is rohit sen

he was in love with sreemoyee when they were in college if sreemoyee hadnt married her husband at that time then he would have been her current husband.....he becomes strong support to sreemoyee without expecting anything in return....their relation is more of respect than love.....as sreemoyee only considers him as friend

but most of anupamaa's versions are recently launched after lockdown except marathi and kannada one so still he hasnt even entered in other versions and anupamaa

marathi version aai kuthey kai karte was launched in dec 2019 but still they havent evn introduced him nd i dont have any info abt kannada version i only knw that kannada version was launched in aug 2019 (kannada version was first of sreemoyee remake)

Yeah, he is STILL THERE is Bengali Version,

He is SOMEONE WHO WOULD GO TO ANY EXTENT TO STAND UP AND SUPPORT FOR SREMOYEE,

Basically, he is THE OPPOSITE of her husband,

I guess in Bengali the husband's name is Anirrudh (Vanraj of Anupama)
