When I entered teenage, I had so many expectations from life. I was suddenly aware of myself and the people around. All those new emotions surfacing, all the daydreams that I actually wanted to live as a truth. But then reality teaches you hard and clear. I was too naive to come out of my shell ,where I buried all of me. But I learned to connect to myself , and that's my discovery of true love maybe.
Cynic.. A big one at that
There was a time when I used to believe in love and drowning yourself in that emotion, but the men I have been with has been spineless and losers, I made wrong choices twice and after that I have realized that I am probably not destined to have someone nice and equally dedicated as I was. So, I feel I’m better off without love, I really don’t have anymore expectations. If I ever get married, that’s probably because in South Asia girls have to marry to have a‘complete’ life.
I’m not sure tbh 😂
On one hand I do believe in true love and everything but on the other hand I can’t help being bitter and jaded af when it comes to relationships because of the things I’ve seen...
I feel the problem is that first of all a lot of people are way too selfish/petty/cruel to actually love someone selflessly (in a romantic way) in the first place...
And even many good people often prioritise “convenience” in relationships over anything else... we want it to happen at the “right” time in their life, with a person of the “right” status/wealth/education/community... for some this stuff becomes so important that it overshadows the idea of actually loving the person or even just enjoying their company...
Society (especially desi society but all societies to some extent) and life in general is hard on people, so those who find true love that’s also convenient for their life and circumstances are lucky af...
But others have to make a decision between being with someone they love (who loves them back) and trying to make it as practical/convenient as possible, or being with someone convenient and trying to love them/get them to love you...
But yeah basically that’s just my take on love and relationships in general lol 🤷🏽♀️
I am and I still believe in fairytales... I guess if you believe only it will happen for real

You feel this way only because you gave your heart to the wrong men. Not all men are same and not all women are same!
Only give heart to someone who is into you not on surface level. Hope you find a loving husband than just being married. Dont spoil your partner's life by marrying just for the sake of it.

Thank you so much 🤗
Maybe I will find someone decent, at some point. I don't mind idiots, but there are a lot of toxic people out there, especially in Indian culture. It's just hard, since we grow up watching movies where they say "ladki ki na mein haan hota hai" etc.
I hear you. There’s toxicity all over the place. Yes unfortunately that mindset is prevalent in lots of people. But eventually way way way in the back there are some good ones 😆
Yes but i don’t show it to anyone.😆

I watched Aftersun yesterday, and I think it is one of those rare films that quietly rearranges something inside you. On the surface, nothing...
