Aise agar koi mujhe zara sa kuch galat bolde, mai shakal na dekhu uss insaan ki zindagi mai kabhi aur ye madam itna hone ke bawajood be ghulam bani huvi hai.

Mera stress level badhata hai ye show. Mai shaant sohbav ki ladki. Iss show ne mrre andar ke lava ko bahar nikala hai.

Exactly!

Pehle toh phat se moonh thod jawab deti thi but as soon as she got married, it all stopped as if sirf pati ko abusive hone ka license milta hai. 🤬

Same! Agar mere saath koi oochi awaaz mein bhi bole toh mein handle nahi kar sakti and this girl has let herself be abused so many damn times. It's disgusting tbh. I mean, she's supposed to be a well educated doctor; a physiotherapist at that. Phir bhi isse itni akal nahi hai. Dusro ka dard dekhna nahi jaata but khud ke upar saare zulm sahe le gi. Give me a break.

Mera bhi kal se yehi halat hai. The more I think about the show, the angrier I'm getting over its ridiculousness. Har cheez ki ek hadh hoti hai. 😤😤

I loved how Riddhu gathered up courage and spoke about their relationship, face to face, with Vansh, showing him the reality.

I also want to k ow Vansh's thoughts on this,as well.

Can we get that,Gur didu?

Thanks Anika.

I'll think about it.

Vansh is biased he will always choose family over Riddhima...he will forgive Aryan because he is family....but he won't forgive Riddhu😠😠

Why would he ever forgive Riddhu? Woh thodi na iski kuch lagti hai.

Thanks for pointing out that their relationship was toxic...at least in the initial days. Vansh was a gentleman in bed, but otherwise he was plain abusive in the early days (not the sexy, dark love types) but genuinely abusive with his gala dabana, throwing knives, constant fear tactics, breaking bangle, paralyzing, etc. The Navratri track is my least favourite.

I wish the CVs voiced this view of Riddhima's - Mujhe humesha darr laga rehta hain kab tum mujhe maroge...

Thanks.

Their relationship is still toxic. That aspect hasn't changed and it never will. The only difference is that Vansh has stopped being physically abusive with her. Otherwise his emotional and mental abuse is still going on.

if anyone would have watched her previous show swaragini her relationship was one of the best in itv. that too started in abusive note as riansh, even verse but the redemption and character arch of ml in that show was just totally brilliant. though they redeemed him too much but still that show showed how a redemption should be written.

Agreed.

If Riddhima had been shown being oblivious, meek, and submissive from the getgo then I might have understood too. But she has been confronting Vansh’s shitty behavior from the first time they met. She told him to check his attitude in front of a huge crowd, refused to work for him just because he said so, and had handed in her resignation letter when she caught him beating up the salesman. Even up until her marriage with him she had been resisting him. But as soon as they got married, all that stopped. I don't expect Vansh to change his behavior overnight because that's just not realistic. But at least Riddhima would have shown that even if you get married, it doesn't mean that you should lose your self-respect in the process.

That's the thing! Other shows at least take the time and put in the effort to show a redemptive track. Here, we didn't even get that which angers me even more. What it comes off as is that Vansh can literally do all the wrongs in the world to Riddhima and he would get away with it. He doesn't need to put in the effort in rectifying mistakes, because apparently getting on one's knees and crying out some dialogues is enough.

At-least makers should show that vansh feels guilty for his behaviour with ridhima once in a while. he should at least thinking of being regretting about it, like they could have have shown those moments which vansh hit ridhima when ridhima walk on broken glasses for him. I know in mafia story we can't show too much redemption or walking away as if vansh let ridhima walk away then it would break that character but feeling bad for shitty behaviour is not too much to ask.

Makers will never do this. Not just Vansh, they can't even be bothered to show Riddhima having remorse for her own actions. Kidnapping Ragini and ultimately being the reason for her death - where's her guilt for that? But if we want to stick to Vansh, then he has done a lot more shitty things that he never apologized for and most likely never will for the sole reason that he's a man. Him being a mafia figure can't excuse everything. If you look at other shows where mafia characters are presented, if they ever goof up in understanding someone, they do go out of their way to show their sincere apology in whatever way possible. Moreover, that action is never a small gesture, but a massive one so that the message is delivered loud and clear.

Here, Vansh isn't a ruthless mafia character and he certainly isn't a good family man either. A man who respects and cares for his relationships would have never allowed all those atrocities to occur onto his wife. The most feared mafia figure would have never allowed so many attacks to happen within his own home without his knowledge either. Even if they were his family members who were behind them, the mafia figure would have outweighed the family man so that lines like this are never crossed again.

Vansh has failed on both accounts and it's a huge disappointment because of the massive potential his character had.
