Veer keeps saying it because at present ranisa is more imp for him . The promise is more imp than Rani. Like he said she will forget Veer with time as for both it was a forced marriage. It still doesn't count for him this marriage . Look at Rani so charged up about saving her father's land . For him it was just a piece of land .

Rani just entered his life . Ranisa was there right from the start or maybe when he was small. He is not a husband yet or Rani a wife . They r still both charged up only about their respective imp people in life . Writing his name was ok. It was a piece of paper . Marriage is entirely different . Ranisa asked him whether he was ready to spend his entire life with Rani . He was silent .

Rani also said to her father's photo , I always ran from marriage but went through the book rasam for your sake and dadisas sake . It has not sunk in both, the marriage part .

Right now what is happening to Veer is what happened to Rani .forced circumstances not happy to do it .

I believe a separation is on the cards as living together has not really made a difference. Rani will get her price of land but at a price, lose the marriage which was only on paper not really accepted with heart as filling somebodys maang forcibly doesn't really entitle a place in heart. There r some flutterings some cute moments but no heart connections or soulmate feelings so far. Rani has not really realised some thing is bugging him nor he her stand .just an opinion with no offence

Technically speaking there will not be a separation, because

then Veer's role will be subjected to being Kiara's armcandy and thinking of Rani and monolgue "where did i get myself too"

same with RaniSa, Rajmata, roles too will have no added punch

They have given good exposure to both leads on the same issue n on other areas,

or they seperate and live in the same city and bump into each other, which will not have much story

or she works in some office which she later knows is owned by Rajawat

I don't mind Ranisa being more important. She is his mother and with this forced marriage, he can't place Rani above her. But I would just expect him to have human decency. If Rani (or anyone remotely related to him, not necessarily his forced wife) is fighting goons alone, then he should feel a little something to help out. Maybe he doesn't care about Rani at all and we just want him to. 😒

But the biggest thing out of all is that Rani's life is the way it is now because her dad is in jail. And the reason is Veer/Ranisa/Rajawats. If that guilt doesn't let him help her out of whatever situation she is in, then he is nothing better than Ranisa in terms of treating people lower than him.

I still don't think separation is on the cards. If they get separated, they will get over their marriage and each other quickly. The goal of the their story is how they learn to live with each other and realize that they were always meant to be. They balance each other out - what Rani has/does, Veer doesn't and vice versa. They have to learn that they balance each other out together, separation will lead them to get back to their normal lives pre-wedding.

I hate when he says "kaha phas gaya mein" (ugh where did I get stuck). He has said it a few times already. And in today's episode, he said it right after Rani cried her heart about why this land and her dream is so important for her.

Then after Birju accepts the challenge, he again thinks about going back home only. Does he not realize Rani is dealing with some serious bad guys here? How can he even think of leaving her alone when she is in the middle of all this?

It's not the Veer we know. He really cannot understand like Rani said because for him everything was easy. He got the status and money easily while Rani spent her life earning it.

Money and status is everything to rani sa. But today Rani rejected his money. So did the other guy. His status was questioned. Veer will get a major eye opening soon.
