I watched till season 6. It took me a long time to watch the rest of the season but it no longer had the same charm for me. Also Hated that Leyton never came back for the finale. Obviously now we know why.

Hilarie Burton nearly swore of ever working in TV again after her experience with the Producer.

It's honestly crazy how long it took them to come out which shows how deeply traumatic abuse can be. It shook me because i used to love the quotes in that show.

When i look back at it now, the show was so messed up. I mean initially they showed Lucus as the level headed lead and Nathan as the spoilt brat when the latter actually turned out to be the more stable one. He was in a relationship with one girl throughout the nine seasons and i can't even remember all of Lucus's affairs 🥱

But Peyton and Brooke were my favourite. #HOB

Nathan and Haley were there throughout and worked through everything though they married very young. Lucas and Haley's friendship was nice but as they went on they forgot about that bond. Only Peyton and Brooke were fine though they had their own stuff. And wow the amount of drama in that show though. Too much bullshit if you watch it all later. Like most other shows,OTH got the attention of teenagers with the good looking cast. And with the cliche hot jerks rivalry.

I don’t know if this is true but I’ve heard that the shows initial plot was suppose to be about the brother’s rivalry and a love triangle between the brothers and Peyton but later it became the Brooke Peyton and Lucas triangle. Brooke was suppose to be a cameo.

I don't watch American shows for relationships because they are always messed up. I used to watch lost for Jack and Kate and vampire diaries for Damon and elena even though lost was far more superior to vampire diaries in terms of plot.

OTH really messed up Lucas's character for drama. I can't believe ppl hate on Lucas.

He was a good friend and brother and a great son. Always there for Peyton.

@lostandsherlock Agreed. Relationship wise American shows are the not the best pick considering they keep dilly dallying the relationship and pairs till the very end. I prefer itv that way. American TV may be good for those who want to watch complex characters

Yes I watch shows like homeland and game of thrones mainly for their complex storylines. Have you noticed that in all American teenage shows a girl is always torn between two guys??😕😕😕
