Doubt abou5 mangalsutra

I am a Tamilian and we have the gold one and that’s the only thing. We don’t keep changing it.

here I am observing that the dollar of the mangalsutra keeps changing . Also the length of it.

Yes we have only one mangalsutra.

we are changing the chain only, when will cut or something else or when we want new style 😆

No this is not the case with many other states .. married woman wear Mangal sutra .. but they can buy new ones .. and change to their choice .. I got a Mangal sutra during my Shadi .. then later on my mom in-law only told me to buy a simpler one which is safer to wear outside .. we bought it a Jewelry store .... and I wore it there itself .. my hubby was not there at the shop .. it’s a suhag ki Nishani .,
