On topic. I used to love celebrating my birthday because the day was all about me, myself and I. But now that I’m getting older - I hate it 😆. I’m desperately trying to hold onto my youth.

BUT despite the above mentioned, I still check to see who wishes me. My birthday is coming up in 4 days and I’ll be keeping count on which friends FORGET to wish me. Then my mission of holding a grudge will be activated and I’ll make sure that I don’t wish them when it’s their turn. 🤣

I’m petty and I know it.

Birthdays stopped exciting me after 21. Before that, I couldn't wait to grow up. As for the other milestone, we best swear by this quote, "Time and tide waits for no man but time always stands still for a woman of 30." 😆

Regardless, an opportunity to celebrate and have fun is always a welcome one, so why should birthdays be an exception. Invite some friends over and have a good time cuz at the end of the day, life is a gift and as long as there's life and health, there's everything. Happy Birthday and have a blast! 🥳
