The show indeed has the Rebecca vibe, what with Bhuri being so menacing and all. However their big reveal will be that some family member killed Sakshi instead of the husband. Let's see how they show this..

Not necessarily powerful. Someone who is his equal, who can give him equal takkar. But is negative.

I just felt Purvi is an oddball in that family she was born into. Priyashi is like her parents, selfish like the father and submitting to her circumstances like mother. Purvi's personality of a strong, morally just yet naive girl does not look like that mindset can thrive or be born in a family where the mother is abused and father is a douche. Hence, thought of adoption crossed my mind.

I think Sakshi wasn't the intended victim, she was collateral damage. The real victim was intended to be Virendra, or maybe both husband and wife.
