Yeah I saw the 5 episodes in the flow hahah yeh satyakam looked a bit like jaideep ahlawat from paatal lok and raazi ka poor man's version hahah he is such a cool character the way he goes bang bang against nani uff uff aurat ko koi goli maaro I Don remember gul ke yeh ek usual ott female villains behind this annoying I mean they are all annoying but yeh extra hai

I really like imlie ka playfulness and shararatein and the way she bajaooes this nani too though woh Amma ka constantly maar khana and rona is already making me ehh about her and too much similarity to kulfi wali bechari maa I hope she stops doing this bechara rona soon. The actress is so pretty and with the gudde thing it definately brings the nuance

LOL that Naani is a total psycho, but she's going to end up being a catalyst in bringing Aditya-Imlie together I guess😆....cuz she's the one who pushes the most for this shaadi and then keeps trying to follow up to make sure they are still together. I guess she doesn't want Imlie to come back to Pagdandiya cuz she hates her so this is the best way she figured to get rid of her.

Re: Imlie ki mom....lol oh that poor lady is going to keep crying.....aage usne Imlie ki shaadi pe bhi toh rona hai😆....so it's not gonna end anytime soon. How else do you think they are getting high TRPs?😆. I do feel sorry for the mother-daughter through....kaafi unfortunate situations mein stuck hain with limited opportunities for a path out. I know you keep saying this reminds you of Kulfi but I couldn't stand that show since the kid actress was so OTT😆. Atleast there is no annoying main baccha as the lead in this. Aditya ke nephew/niece are kinda OTT kids but I can zone them out😆

Despite all this TRP masala, the show is watchable cuz of good performances and some good characters.

Oh Fary, since you've watched till epi 5, what did you think of Adi-Imlie ki first meet? LOL@ the way she burst through the haystack like a blur and knocked him down as she was running😆.

I've been so thankful ki in dono ka koi trip/catch nahin hua in all their interactions so far.....no sudden LLHH either ki sudden "pheels" aane lage. Ek simplicity thi in the build up. Imlie's initial irritation with him and constantly calling him "shehri langoor" was funny though😆

The direction in the show is actually pretty good. Atif saab chhaa gaye😆

That was so unexpected and hilarious and the way isko samjh hi nahi aati ke hua kya and then he checks his camera and sees a blur 😆 I thought it was new ke itna fast ho gaya and then how they acted totally normal too wahan khade hoke ladki pe timpani nahi start kar di thi isne

It may sound weird but abhi tak i like how he treats her like an adult only mostly there is a lihaaj of their age difference and all even when she shnaooes him or teases him by puncturing uske lohe ki bakariya😆 ki tires the way he just deflects it and uspe fixate nahi ho jaata it really is setting them apart and making them normal. Even though yeh takrate rehte hain there is no awkwardness or cringe formula reactions they are just very matter of fact interactions mile or chale gaye

I esp liked and laughed at that hum chahe apni kittens ki saagai karayeinnand when laughed it out how she went we should love all living things I thought that was naya haha sab living things se pyar karo bit though I had to laugh as certain things unintentionally reminded me of shivika ki gobar interaction🤣Like Aditya ka phone seedha gobar main gira yeh alag baat hai ke none of them reacted to it ya phir uss interaction main she mentions bhainsiya after billi ke bache haahah but i really liked how he was a bit touched by that thought but phir fixate nahi ho gaya the whole gaoon wale obsessed with pictures kichwanaa and uspe imlie ke reactions Crack me up

Also the dia interaction where he thought ke they are out to thug him now as be was focused on satyakaam se meeting and she zaps him by returning his 20 rs hahah

I haven't watched any recent epis so not much idea what's going on there.....main toh aaraam se first epi se dekh rahi hoon dheere dheere when I get time😆....and since it's 60 epis, it will take me a while to catch up to the current story.

I've only see a few promo clips here and there like that Dil Se wala and the one where he married Malini recently. Mujhe bas general idea hai ki he was forced to get married to Imlie in the village, then brought her with him to the city and wahaan after a while he got married to Malini since he had promised Malini he would marry her. City mein no one knows him and Imlie are married, while Village side pe everyone treats them like a married couple.

Anyways, I'm liking the first week of epis cuz interactions are being slowly built up and aisa nahin ki koi instant lowe at first sight chal raha hai.....Imlie ki Nani is a headache but other characters are good. ML is also decent and more focused on his work than faltugiri so far. The second FL - Malini is kinda insecure and clingy but phir bhi, it's understandable as a part of her character....aise nahin hai ki caricature ho.

Arre this moment is really good it made me intrigued to see them.sach bollon to it kinda played the role that shocka.ka boom dua did on me as in curious to see ke yahan hai kha that had the perfect connection and tadap and just bittersweetness and tehraav. Am gonna gif it I wanted too as soon as i watched it but phir I was like kuch zyada jaldi na ho jaaye watch 3,4 episodes. Bohat pyara hai with that song playing in bg them breaking into a laugh only for her to paas out and thinking she's gone

And it makes sense ke city mainkoi jaanat nahi caz otherwise I was like how come his maa and wife are so worried about inlie and behaving so normal ke doosri shaadi kar li hai. I like the family. Woh bitter sister bhi kaafi real depiction hai of how people turn bitter and get into insecurity. Woh malini is nice too but uski maa wohi typical status conscious woman is okay is I get her hurt too ke uske husband ne usse cheat kia gaaon main. I feel for both the women this guy cheated.

Rofl I know you get irritated with kulfi but ab kya karoon jab itna copy paste hai bas yeh farak tha ke kulfii ki Amma car ke aage aake jaldi hi marr gayi thi uske baad she was being overboard rofl .

I like ke yeh Aditya is far from.gul ke typical lambe lambe names wale heroes who are always businessmen and upperclass wale elite class and oh the most thankful ke isko koi beemari nahi hai hahah. The guy does have class cheapda type nahi hai yeh Aditya refreshing hai and I appreciate it

Aditya actually is a surprising tehzeeb/lihaaz wala character initially....he was even using "aap" for Imlie initially😆. Malini ke saath bhi yeh 'aap-aap' kar ke baat karta hai. He eventually flipped to "tum" for Imlie though as they started interacting more.....lol

Yes, even though Imlie was putting him down a lot with all her name-calling, he didn't retort in kind to that level. I think he does consider her a bacchi in many ways and himself the mature adult so he was trying to take the higher ground initially. But baad mein things will change as you will see with the shaadi incident. He tells her there also to not say anything since she's a bacchi and she doesn't understand these things....but she firmly goes ahead cuz she wants to save his life.

The diya scene was a good one....and it showed that even though Aditya generally tries to treat everyone with politeness, he is capable of losing his temper and talk crap as he jumped to labeling her a thug in irritation. Imlie's retort was good. Another thing I liked was Adi being a journalist...it gives potential for different storylines to work with.....like his pursuit of Satyakaam's story.

See, this show is also doing the gaaon-sheher clash but they aren't making it cringey like SAKK. Sabse badi irony yehi hai ki feminism bhaashan likhte likhte baaki story likhna bhool jaate hain writers. What's the point of those well written feminist speeches if the overall story is ghanta?

Ab Imlie mein bhi rona-dhona melodrama hai but atleast story toh hai which doesn't feel artificial or put on.

Although in my opinion, Imlie is notably better made of the two and has better actors too. Love triangle dono mein hai but it's better put together in Imlie in terms of humanizing the characters. Sai show seems more caricaturish. Progressive toh kisi angle se nahin hai even if pseudo woke junta wants to claim it as so.....one screaming Sai and her guardian figure pati hardly made for "progressiveness"....lol....Neil ki acting is also so weird in this show....like he has a weird blank/smug/condescending way of talking whenever I chance upon any promo clip of this. Honestly damn weird relationship b/w him and that Sai. Also, the third angle is a total cliched vamp in this one already.....lol

I totally agree!! Atleast samjh toh aata hai na ke chal kya raha hai unlike that sai show and yaar kabhi koi reason hota hai in stupid fandom fights main bas 3k ko utthane ke liye dusre ko neeche girls bina rhyme or reason and usme pleasure lo. People have the usual issue ke yeh ful ka show hai and fetching trp and how can it happen when it doesn't have their didis and bhaiya and a total newbie ladka and ladki who could both act and caz yeh shaadi aise hui toh it becomes regressive for them while.sai didi jaise saara din pheeka loud chillam Chilli is automatically progressive even if that has no saf or pair or happened by force too. Yahan woh glamor nahi hai fancy 🥻 nahi hain to drool over etc

At Adi being rude after shaadi well I guess that has come to full circle now *spoiler* with the current episode caz that's all that kept flashing back to him being rude to her when she is in shehar as his wife and usse avoid kar raha tha and he seemed to regret that seeing her in such a terrible state in this recent episode and all that made him utthao her responsibility in aaj ka episode in the precap I mean the new episode will come later but technically toh aaj ka hi haia nd it seemed to have weight aise hi nahi caz he took her from her mother and went ke bharosa karo. Dekh lo I got all the feelz and mujhe toh aage peeche ka kuch pata nahi tha at that time haha

See him calling her tum is more natural and yeah I felt that he did treats her as a bachi only ek toh he said it dusra it was nicely established in the demeanor without being spoonfed like woh Sai and uske sir who are not bache nor adult and ajeeb hi kuch hai. I get him being frustrated at getting stuck in a situation like this ek toh waise hi bohat hard situation hai aise shaddi main bandana and uppar se woh bachi toh hainhi na in comparison or bhi odd despite ke yeh ladki bohat hi acha balance and nuance laa rhai hai in her playfulness and being mature ek dumb dumb nahi lagti

Exactly rona dhona melodrama bhi OK hai agar point toh hai

Oh one other thing that so far I like and I could be wrong in this caz this is just what I gather from watching the thumbnails is that despite shehar being imlie ka sapna she doesn't seem so wide eyed and bhondhu coming to shehar haan yeh alag baat hai ke iska circumstance is totally different too jismein aayi thi yeh pagdandiya se but still.woh abnormal excitement nahi dikh rahi in the thumbnails

Haan, circumstances didn't really allow for her to be dreamy-eyed about sheher anymore.....there is a brief line when she first comes to the city where she says to herself, this was my dream but I never thought it would be fulfilled like this.

The shaadi in many ways sapped her spirit, especially around Aditya....she's become more sehmi hui around him, constantly living in guilt. And she's been crying almost constantly since then....lol matlab every epi has her crying atleast 50% of the time.....it's like she can't help herself...usko bahut badaa shock/trauma ho gaya hai of being seperated from her mom and now being stuck in a place she didn't want where she's berated by Aditya. His family is all very nice to her, but he puts her down a lot and she seems to take it hard whenever he does that. I think she's become more emotional in the wake of this shaadi.....it's like anything connected to shaadi or Aditya's upcoming shaadi to Malini reminds her all over again what happened to her, how she's away from her mom and she starts crying again.

For now toh she has moments where she tries to cheer herself up by throwing herself into the house chores....but overall, she seems adrift in some ways. Aditya's family though has already wholeheartedly apnaaoed her.....lol his mom is already saying ki think of me like your mom....they treat her more like a daughter than a maid😆.....sab pamper kar rahe hain usko....including the cranky older sister.

I'm gonna avoid current epis for now, but I can guess why Aditya will feel guilty in the long term.

Even now, he may be rude to Imlie, but he is mostly drowning in guilt over the fact that he is lying to everyone and isn't being true to his principles anymore. He considered himself an honest/upright reporter.....and now he's constantly hiding a big secret from everyone. Imlie is the person he's taking out his frustration on cuz she is the only other person there who is part of this shared secret.

Malini-wise, I'm getting the sense that she is a nice person otherwise but given her level of obsession with Aditya, this can easily turn unhealthy and dark. Her entire focus is on marrying Aditya....but I'm not sure to what extent she has thought through things beyond that....in terms of compatibility with his family and all. Like she only seems to want to bond with them cuz they are Aditya's family....uske ilava I don't know kitna bond banega....and given that this is a joint family, she can't survive there without genuinely bonding with them.

Aditya's family has more middle class sensibilities which are aligning more easily with Imlie's small-town sensibilities too.
