my head says what he did is right. What's wrong for Sai is wrong for Pakhi too. He was being mature and sensible. After all, she is his friend and with Samrat missing he might want to support his brother's wife. I am sure he would have done the same for Karishma as well. Until now he has never regretted letting Pakhi gI, his only regret is that her husband left her the next day after marriage because of their past.

I could feel Sai’s pain when she saw Virat applying ice on Pakhi’s hand. I wanted her to bang the ice on his head and leave the kitchen. I want her to confront him and tell him that she didn't like it when he tends to Pakhi didi. For the the first time, I felt he deserved to be rejected by Sai 😕when he proposes to her.

I am angry at Virat but at the same time, I feel for him when he gets bashed left-right, and center.I feel like banging his head yet I don't want him to go through too much pain when Sai will reject him. This is the return gift for yesterday’s jalebi 😂

I had said this in some other post. By apologizing on behalf of Sai he showed everyone that they are one unit. He doesn't do that when Pakhi does a mistake. He thinks of Sai as his own.

I don't support Sai in mission Devi. She is gonna get in trouble and I hate Sherlock homes Atma in female leads.

I have to watch out for how he applies the ice to Pakhi vs how he applied to Sai. It was more personal w Sai though, they had an eye lock moment and he also video called her to find out how her hand is ... wonder if he will do that to Pakhi or straight go and see her in her room ..wondering what that discussion will be about. I see all the chappals and garbage being thrown at him when that scene is about to air or will air..pehle toh everyone disliked pakhi, now its virat too 🤣

The only thing I see happening here is Sai's misunderstanding or her acknowledgement that he still "loves" his vahini. I remember a while back everyone was confused as to how Sai felt bc she was indifferent, I guess the scene you mentioned when she saw him applying ice and how it impacted her - proves that the hard shell is a facade to save her tiny little heart from breaking into pieces.

I also think the BTS and voice over or explanation is scripted. What happens in the show is completely different than what they talk about. Isn't the reason for these bites so that the viewer sees something outrageous and it makes them curious to watch the show even more?! No need to panic over it.

I was telling someone else the other day too that Virat's character was already established in the beginning. When Kamal Sir dragged Jagtap along on his car and Virat found out, he scolded Kamal Sir and said no matter who it is, they don't deserve the treatment. To this, Kamal Sir also said you just came here and dont know the full story but he didnt want to hear it (and yet he tells Sai to be open to perspectives). He got to know the story later and said Jagtap should have saqt se saqt saza. Even then, he only slapped Jagtap twice despite knowing Jagtap has been bothering Sai for three years. It took extreme actions on Jagtap's part to get Virat in action ... I see this translating to their married life as well.

It may take extremely cruel (yes even worse than this) actions by his family to Sai to get him to take an action and put an end to it ..

It's unfair to expect Virat to be a 100% perfect. It's also not fair to Sai to have to deal w a toxic family and seeing ex-lovers together (yet separate) and def not good to see Pakhi acting the way she is ...I remember in one scene, her mother told her itni padhi likhi ho, but akal hi nahi hain when she was pining over Virat. I initially was okay/indifferent to her but remember thinking, she can actually find someone else worth her love and energy if she tries, why is she so hell bent on him!? But then i also thought abt my friends who do exactly the same (even I have sometimes but not to this extent lol ) and get my answer ..A lot of woman (or men) do this ...we fail to realize our own potential/value and get stuck in something we think can be instead of seeing what is.

Anyhow, so no matter what type of a professional a person is or their educational background is, it doesn't define their actions will match in certain scenarios. As IPS, Virat should be able to not do paksh-paash. But, as an example, we see doctors who also don't follow the dietary restrictions they advice to their patients...some who smoke or drink (above limit). Yet professionally, they advice patients bc they are accredited or it's their job. I think Virat is also another example of that - he has morals and values but when he see the emotional abuse to wife and doesn't act to put a full stop to it ...it's the same doctor wala example.

And he was very precise, no blowing air, no eye locks and sympathies for her tears. I personally just found the scene to be very distasteful. If Pakhi was dying or something then I could have understood him being a first responder. I wish he didn't even enter into the kitchen politics to begin with. Would have been much better if Sai had handled the situation by herself. This looks bad on her part as she is trying to be a doctor. It's the CVs fault to add masala to the Mirchi grinding.

Woh toh hai... At hindsight I think we could have skipped this and had something else for the lessons but then I guess the main reason was to make it evident to Virat the double standard of the family in context of Mahabhoj. Also to establish that Sai is indeed feeling the sting watching him care for someone else even in if it's a fraction of what he does for her.

Of course, your detailed comments on each one's mind space is too good. I noticed you didn't dwell too much on Pakhi Didi. After all the brouhaha, the episode was not about her at all! Haan, but I saw a change in expression today, thanks to the mirchi😆.

Sai - was she justified? Does moving over to the dark side give any real victory? It didn't for her. Probably, she did it out of a grudge. I am giving it to her. Sai is a hero, with a heart. She hurts too. Just as the act of applying ice did hurt her. We do keep saying that Sai has not shown any inclination towards Virat. Even Virat says - Sai mera intazar kabhi nahi karti, aise jatati ho ki pyaar nahi karti. I was trying to think of her getting affected by him independently of his gestures. She feels happy like a child but she's never reacted like a woman towards him. Her lowering of eyes was like a woman today. It hurt her.

Virat- Well-done yet not quite. He maintained the balance pretty well till the ice pack moment. He need not have an eye lock, the gesture of familiarity with PP is enough.

I was somehow reminded of Draupadi and Yudhishthir's relationship. She always loved him for his high ideals but always felt he very often sacrificed her at the altar of his Dharma. She remained hurt at this trait of his throughout.

Of course, this has nothing of the layers that the Draupadi-Yudishtir relationship. But your post made me remember.

I don't understand one thing Virat and sai stay in same room right. Then from morning he didn't ask her how is her fever 🤣. He is behaving like staying in different Room and from getting up to getting ready he didn't saw Sai. She is getting ready to go down he should stop her in room and in room only first thing he should ask her fir health . 🙄🙄🙄😳😳😲
