Her ordinary features are nothing to write home about and she looks like a complete nightmare without makeup 😵 Her height and figure are her only plus points, otherwise she's no ethereal beauty like this forum wants us to believe!

Average looking actresses have an advantage because they're known for their acting rather than their beauty.

When she debuted Karishma was called masculine looking by some... She later changed a lot.

I think she’s prettier (not to mention more pleasant) than KKK (I didn’t used to think so when KKK arrived on the scene)

Although not popular for her looks I find Shabana Azmi overrated in terms of performance too which is supposed to be the crème de la crème of BW acting

Alia and DP... Although Alia is not known for her beauty, her USP is her brilliant acting talent, she is the current gen’s crème del a crème according to her fans and DP is the apsara according to her fans...

Karishma Kapoor is average looking.

Priyanka pre surgery was meh.

Deepika and Sonam are also average without make up.

Rani Mukherjee/Kajol without grooming looks worse than Deepika/Sonam without grooming.

The point is most of the human beings need proper grooming to look attractive, not everyone looks good without make up/grooming. Actually very few people look good without grooming.

Kajol is the only one. She looked pretty atrocious in the 90s, but was everyone's favorite. Since the topic is about actresses, I am excluding SRK, but he's definitely another one.

I am excluding Rani and PC -- with proper make-up and grooming, they did look good.
