It's difficult to say whether Sai's marriage with Virat has benefitted her or not. But I will say that it's hard to get that partner who would encourage you in your studies and career. Virat is doing that. However, his support for Sai against his family is less. He wants Sai to ignore the taunts or probably help them in the kitchen by getting up early in the morning. But he does not understand the greediness and selfishness of his family. They want her to do the house or kitchen work, but they don't want to give her the DIL status and forget about treating her as a daughter.

Virat needs to understand from Sai's viewpoint and explain things to her from her perspective. He knew very well that Sai was pretending to flirt with Amey to expose him in front of his family and Amey's wife. Yet, he yelled at her.

And when he can allow Pakhi to enter his room and interfere between them, why can't Sai even talk to a guy.

Ab ITV mein loopholes toh 100% honge. Its too much to expect a solid loophole free story. If Virat didnt marry Sai they would not have a love triangle premise which is an ITV staple. They love this unrequited pyaar nonsense! In the real world this marriage would never happen. Virat is an ips officer. Sai is a state topper. Both are educated, modern and smart people. Even if Sai tried to commit suicide Virat would have got her treated for clinical depression and not got married. What if Virat was a married man or already engaged to be married to someone. How would the GC villagers expect him to get married to Sai....but obviously ITV mein aise logical questions cant be asked. Even if they were to get married Virat did not need to make that decision without informing anyone in his house. Even if he knew they'd oppose it, no one would make such a big decision without any consulation.

Infact, even after marriage they have shown Sai "move on" too quickly. She was so affected by her fathers death that she was suicidal and now she is only involved in this family drama. We never see her struggle to get over her father's death and we dont get to see any sweet moments where Virat realizes how much she misses her father and consoles her. Jis "emotional support" ke liye Virat married Sai voh dikhate hi nahi. Instead they have only shown family drama which is OTT.

I think Virat saved himself in all this process.

Virat might have seen kaku giving tough time to Karishma as well. She has in her own ways learnt to handle kaku. So he probably thinks if Karishna can do it, so can Sai..

Also reason for Karishma surviving is due to Omi and Sonali seeming to love Karishma like a daughter. Like both were upset when kaku refused oats and even yesterday when she was being punished. She is still not accepted by kaku but atleast Ninad also supports Karishma. So with Karishma its just Kaku who taunts and other elders pitch in to calm kaku down.

But Virat doesn't know that kaku n gang does different kind of torture with Sai. Its not kaku vs Sai. Its the entire mob. There is no one to support Sai.

If Ninad supported her, she would not have been in this situation. Virat should try to talk to his father to get him on his side. He already tried with kaku and failed.

No doubt Virat cares a lot for Sai and tries to give her the best, but he is a bit biased towards his family. That makes him blind to what is happening as well as missing out on seeing what they are saying to Sai. He comes always towards the end when Sai is shouting, so from his point, she is like banshee shouting even if she is right, her way is wrong.

And the main reason being Pakhi, until she is there, she will make sure Sai is not accepted. He knows she doesn't like Sai and escalates situation even in his presense. That's why Virat needs to draw a line. Yes she is your ex, but don't let interfere in your personal matters with wife

Sai, the poor girl does not have the tact or the experience to handle such people coz she never had to. She tries to handle them the way she knows-going offensive or tit for tat esp coz she is in stuck in this chakravyuh. She is not taking Virat's help coz she wants to handle everything on her own. Right now, Sai and Virat are standing against each other due to their own assumptions and attitude and that's why both of them are drained, Sai more than Virat. They have to come together and first step is for Virat to not let Pakhi come in between their fights. That will reduce half the tension in their life.

Next have one to one session with Ninad.

Also don't fight so loudly that everyone can hear. There are some things that should be between them. By shouting and fighting in public, they are giving people chance to interfere in their relationship.

He is in the position of authority that creates a power imbalance when it comes to Sai. So as of now, Virat is in control of their lives.

Sai has said what needs to be said. Ball is in Virat's court now. There is still time to rectify the damage done so far.

He needs to take care of situation before it ruins her life and with that eventually his too.
