If Virat continues to ignore the torture that despokhi and gang do on her then definitely RUIN. It will ruin her health physically and mentally, studies, career, self respect, mental and financial independence!

If I were in Sai's place, and had to go through all this (right from being an orphan to makkad sena circus) I would have a nervous breakdown by now!

As of now, I don't think Virat has ruined her life yet. Or, that Sai has ruined his life for that matter. Surely, his need to do good and pay off his debt to Kamal sir played a huge factor in the marriage. But, the point remains that marriage is also a means of social security. Here was this woman who was being harassed by a politician's son since she was 15-17. This was done while her father was the sole in charge of the PS there. Now that the father had been martyred and the girl was left without any extended family. She depended on her neighbours who surely loved her but could be terrorised at any moment. This was the man who carshed the wedding of an ACP just to make lewd comments on Sai and flex his power.

Virat could sponsor her education and could have brought her to Nagpur but that could have still left Sai socially vulnerable. Vithal could open an investigation on Virat in Nagpur. He could definitely find ways to harm Sai.

Behen, this is a TV show. IRL Sai would definitely leave the Chavans with or without Virat. But if you read the main post, you would realise how illogical this is to make sure that Sai is bound to Virat.

I think where Virat misjudged is how regressive his family is actually. He didn't know about Ashwani being coerced into giving up her studies and still doesn't know about Devyani despite being the favourite son. Like Neil said the other day, he has been raised in the environment where it's normal to never question the Chakrams. He is sees through most of their BS too. But, I think, he hopes that one day they won't be angry over his 'mistake' anymore and accept Sai. That's why he wants Sai to be tactical, at times— not always, tho.

I also think he did not factor in Pakhi's obsession with him. He thought that they could very good friends whilst Pakhi actually enjoys a normal marriage with Samrat. He clearly did not mean an EMA by his vaada. So, to him at least, his deal wali marriage should not affect Pakhi in such a disgusting way.

Thirdly, he clearly did not think through his lifelong celibacy wala vaada. Both of them have developed deeper emotions for each other and he doesn't know what to make of it.

The last week of outbursts was a result of all of this He's hurting her and himself in this weird mixture of confusion, attachment, possessiveness, deal and ego. If he doesn't sort this out, he will ruin her life as well as his own. They both need each other, tbh.

Marriage happened between two adults. Why blame one of them for this decision? As per law, 18 yr old is adult enough to take decisions related to marriage. Age is not an excuse.

He saved her from people like Vital Mane and she found a supporting partner in Virat and a family in Aai, Shivani, and Devi. Accusing him of ruining her life is an insult to Virat who did not have I'll intention or selfish reason.

After her suicide attempt, he realized she needs a family, not just financial support. He could do this only by marrying her. If he had done this without marrying, society would have raised questions about Sai’s character and would have hurt her more than anything

She was a servant in Kamal's house & isn't Sai's mother to get her married. If Virat had immediately approved Kamal's resignation, Sai would have happily settled with Kamal in Nagpur.

let's say if virat didn't marry or take sai's responsibilities ?

would jagtap and his MLA baap spare her ? even if she comes to nagpur and stayed somewhere , it's not tough for an MLA to find out abt her or kidnap her or get her married to her son, forget about studying n pursuing medical course, she wouldn't have been able to live a normal life
