RIANSH OS : STARTING OVER
Vansh and Riddhima walked hand in hand inside VR mansion.
Riddhima was still upset about everything that had occurred during the past couple of weeks. Every step they took inside the mansion reminded her of the insult she faced. Vansh announcing Ahana as his wife, Ishani throwing her out, Dadi's refusal to recognize her, it all flashed before her eyes.
She felt her head was becoming heavy due to the emotional turmoil she was going through. She felt the need to be alone for a while.
Maybe some alone time will ease the pain. Riddhima thought to herself. That might calm her aching heart.
"Vansh", she looked up at her husband and slowly muttered.
"I am going to our room. I need to be alone for some time."
"I understand." He said looking softly into her eyes and nodded.
He knew that he had hurt her so much that she wouldn't be able to forget it any time soon. She needed time and he was willing to give her that.
But first he had to sort out some things.
He looked at their entwined hands. There were some things he should have done a long time back.He gazed back up at her face and gently replied.
"Just give me 5 minutes". There's something that has to be done first. I promise I will not disturb you after that."
She just nodded at him in reply. She was too emotionally tired to argue.
"Dadi. Angre. Aryan. Where are you all."
He roared loud enough to be heard in every room in VR mansion.
Everyone came down from sia's room.
"Vansh!" Dadi exclaimed in happiness
"Vansh you brought her back."
She reached Riddhima and pulled her into a hug.
Riddhima was just too numb to respond. She didn't feel the affection towards her that she used to.
Didn't the same woman refuse to recognize her .
Riddhima thought bitterly to herself.
Yet Riddhima knew she will not be able to stay angry at her for long. She will forgive her. But she needed time.
"Dadi" Vansh clutched the shoulders of the old lady and gently pulled her away from Riddhima sensing his wife's unease.
"Please sit down" he said indicating towards the sofa and made her sit down.
"Riddhima you should also sit down."
Riddhima sat down on another sofa not looking at the face of any of the family members.
It was her own fault she thought sadly. It was her own fault that she considered this family to be hers, when they clearly didn't feel that way towards her. These people weren't her family. They were vansh's family.
They've always seen her as the enemy.
Vansh looked up at the rest of the family and Ahana standing a few feet away from them.
Everyone except Sia was present there.
"There's something I want to tell everyone. Some rules that have to be set. Some decisions that have to be made."
Vansh announced looking at them
"Ahana."
He turned to her.
I have already transferred the entire amount I promised you. I want you to go and pack your bag and leave. You have 15 minutes to do so.
"But vansh," Ahana tried to interrupt him.
"I don't want to hear any excuses Ahana. You are not a member of this family and you will never be. Pack your bags an leave respectfully or I will throw you out myself."
Vansh said with anger radiating from him.
He had made a mistake by bringing her here. He had to rectify it.
Ahana gulped in fear, noted noted to argue and slowly went to pack.
Vansh turned his attention back to his family.
"Riddhima is my wife. She has the same rights on this house that I do."
"Anyone who tries to disrespect her should know that they'll be disrespecting me. Everyone should give her the same respect you give me."
He said the last sentence looking directly at his dear sister.
She just glared at him in response.
"If anyone has residual thoughts of hurting her I'm warning you, remove those thoughts out of your mind or I'll make sure I remove you from this house."
"Here onwards Riddhima will be present in every decision of this house."
He continued in a firm voice.
"Without her permission or against her wishes nothing will happen in this house. Anyone who has a problem with Riddhima is free to leave this house right now."
That shut everyone up. No one dared speak a word after that.
"Angre. Call the lawyer. Tell him to get the papers ready. I'm transferring this house into Riddhima's name."
"Yes boss." Angre nodded
Riddhima got up from the sofa and went towards Vansh. Looking at him she said,
"I'm happy with whatever you said. I'm glad you took a stand for me. Even it's been long due, I'm happy you are supporting me at at least now."
"Those words are enough Vansh. I dont need this house."
"No Riddhima" he insisted looking at his wife.
"I knew you will say this. Buy I want you to know it's very important. This house is yours as much as it's mine. No one should make you leave, not even me."
"I don't need it Vansh." Riddhima replied back stubbornly.
"What does it matter if it stays in your name, instead of mine. It will be ours anyway."
"Please Riddhima." He tried to convince her.
She nodded her head once in reply.
"Right that's settled then." Vansh said happily clasping his hands.
"Yeah only one thing is left."
He said turning his attention back to his family.
"I've already apologised to Riddhima. Why don't you all come forward and do the same."
This is what I wrote in continuation to yesterday's episode. I feel Riddhima shouldn't have forgiven vansh so soon. But since she already has I'm just going with it.
