Broken was drafted long ago

sorry sorry dear yeah i read last three update but could not comment...because i was so busy in office works can't t explain i spent my last two weekend at office😭 plus this week i have started taking car driving lessons.😔in this pandemic i realise one thing for sure i have to learn car driving. still difficult for me to drive a car....may be i need more practice.😒
last three chapters are awesome i feel like i am watching hollywood movie. specially when benjamin and riddhima scene.
This riddhima 2.0 is different....yeah she is still emotional but isn't it her essence??? yet she manage to bury her past mistakes and come this far which quite difficult. forgetting old you and emerging as new person is very hard. once whom you loved wholeheartedly and stand against them as they never were part of her life that's is also hard....so for me...she is brave.....that's what i called bravery to do that.👏😳in future she will overcome that too.😳
love the bonding between sher and riddhu....i know he is loyal to king but i am afraid will he manage his friendship with her besides keeping his loyalty to king????
i am exciting for night date that too under water.......
take care dear😊

Chapter 21
Ridhima and he has jumped into the water while none had spoken a word until they have reached the bottom of the ocean where they can see different species of water animals. He has left her hand while she was petrified for a second, then again, he has held her with his hands and patted her back assuring that he is with her.
"Like a Columbus of the heart, mind and soul I have hurled myself off the shores of my fears and limiting beliefs to venture far out into the uncharted territories of my inner truth, in search of what it means to be genuine and at peace with who I am. I have abandoned the masquerade of living up to the expectations of others and explored the new horizons of what it means to be truly and completely me, in all my amazing imperfection and most splendid insecurity" feels Ridhima while touching and sensing the things underwater.
Ridhima is turning into another side of the ocean while he stops her and pulls back and shows how a large number of sharks are going from that side. As one of the shark sense something and moves towards Ridhima, while he pulls her behind him and swims off to another direction and makes Ridhima look in which the direction they are heading.

He let her come out of his grip and swim. "She is a beginner yet she is doing a good job. He could tell she is a free spirit, a gypsy, just by looking at her. A smile like that doesn't come from a sad soul. She is a wild woman; a Wild woman is an unexplainable spark of life. She oozes freedom and seeks awareness, she belongs to nobody but yet gives a piece of herself whoever she meets." He comes around her and gives his hand to go make her see the other side of the ocean.
Ridhima can see the cruise from below. They have seen one side of it and now going to another side of the cruise. For her, Sher had not even left her hand since they were swimming; he is with her, she smiles and tightens the hold on his hand which he felt and passes to the other side of the cruise.

He takes her to the deep waters and makes her sit on a stone and says to her watch bioluminescent fishes which are glowing in the water. He can see her happiness and surprise and content with it. He sat back while catching her and he let her take the front part of the stone to give her a new view of the deep oceans.
“The feeling of homelessness suddenly turned into something else. I called it the freedom to wander" feels Ridhima while smiling all around seeing how things are happening in the water. She looked up and saw the cruise and she can see stars in the sky; Again she looked at her sight, she felt seeing two differences universes at the same moment.
“It wasn't gloom at all. There were lights and colours. If it hadn't been for the feel of the water gliding by against her skin she might have imagined herself up in the sky, with meteors and comets blazing past. But these were sea-things, shining in the dark, the luminous life that blazes beneath the southern sea.
First, she'd see a tiny twinkling speck, like a star, and it might have been next to her face or a mile away, in that immense, featureless void, with its faint hint of green. It would grow larger. It would turn into a radiant sun of purple or crimson or orange and come rushing at her and swerve aside at the last moment. There were sinuous ribbons of fire that coiled into bright patterns, and there were schools of tiny fish that flashed by like sparks. Down below, in the deeper abyss, the colours were paler, and once an enormous shape blundered past down there, like the sea-bottom itself moving heavily."
Ridhima sat like that and she had no idea how many hours it been. She turns back and sees Shera watching her. Though she cannot see his face, she can sense his gaze on her.
Ridhima says with the hands let's swam up while he nods his head and catches hold of her hand and swims to the side of the cruise.
While going up, Ridhima can see they are going from the frontal side of the cruise. She experiencing a different version of the sea on this side.
"The colours that fade when coral is drawn out of its element were garishly bright here, intricate and lovely labyrinths on the bottom. Among the coral, fish went darting; and overhead a sea-bat, a devil-fish, flapped slow wings past, its stingaree tail trailing. Morays coiled by, opening their incredible, wolfish mouths at them, and many-limbed crabs scuttled sidewise over the rocks and little sandy plateaus of the bottom. Groves of seaweed and great fans of coloured sponges swung with hypnotic motion, and schools of tiny striped fish went flashing in and out among them, moving altogether as if with a single mind."
On to the left side, she can see a cavern among the brown and purple rocks, an octopus looked at them out of huge, alien eyes. Its tentacles hung and quivered."
Ridhima tightened her hold on him and he can sense her worry made his pace fast while Ridhima followed accordingly,
"hovering over an expanse of pale sand where the light from above shimmered and ran in rippling waves, their own shadow hanging spread-eagled below them. In and out of it many little creatures went scuttling busily on their underwater errands."
They finally reached the to cruise making away near to the passage which leads to another entrance from which they can get into the cruise. While they stepped into it, Ridhima had sensed this part of the cruise is like a submarine kind and still lost in her thoughts about the deep ocean.
"Life here was painted in three dimensions, and there was no gravity. There were only beauty and strangeness and a hint of terror that sent pleasurable excitement thrilling through her blood" feels Ridhima while turns back to see Shera but then, she is all alone and in the bewildering situation.
******************
Ridhima changes her dress and searches for Sher while she sees him at the top of deck and calls,
"Sher"
and waves her hand. Sher turns back and smiles at her.
"Where did you go?"
asks Ridhima while he smiles,
"It's your changing room. Not mine"
while Ridhima nods to it and both close their eyes to enjoy the breeze.
"Did you like today's date?"
Sher asks opening his eyes and turning towards her.
"Yes. When I listened silently to the water, it was not just water, but the voice of life, the voice of Being, the voice of perpetual Becoming. The ocean is the best place, for a long time. However, that is what I love most. It gave me a feeling of freedom like no other, and yet a feeling of communion with all the other places and creatures the water touched"
says Ridhima beaming with happiness while Sher smiles seeing her happy.
"I'm glad you enjoyed, Ridhi,"
says Sher.
"I never know you love the ocean and swimming so much, Sher,"
says Ridhima while Sher says,
"Initially, I never liked the water and the ocean. But now, I enjoy it. Do you ever realized that water is the most perfect traveller because when it travels it becomes the path itself!"
says Sher while Ridhima can feel his words.
While both were lost in the ocean again, Ridhima can sense someone calling and turns back,
"Dr Ridhima, Dr Ridhima"
shouts Aniket
"What happened Aniket?"
asks Sher while Aniket takes a deep breath and says,
"Sia reports are out!"
**********************
Ridhima rushes to the laboratory to check the details, and she knows she got the evidence to say something is mixed up in Sia's medicines, but she doesn't know how to prove that it is done by Kabir and Anurpiya.
"Ridhima, what you are waiting for? Go and share the report with VR"
says Sher
"No, Sher. Vansh knows what Kabir and Anupriya did, however, they both are still with him. Even now if I say this to him, Kabir might ask me for the evidence to prove that, this is planned by them? Right now we don't have any evidence saying they did it?"
replies Ridhima while rubbing off the sweat beads formed on her forehead.
"Relax Riddhi, we will find a solution for this, however, you need to tell him about these medicines because he would be more careful on this matter,"
says Sher while Ridhima nods to it and both moves towards Vansh's room.
Vansh is in deep sleep when he hears someone knocking his door while he moves to open the door he sees both Sher and Ridhima while the latter is too worried and had a sheet in her hands. Vansh tries to close the door, but Sher stops with his hand, and Ridhima says,
"It's urgent and all about Sia"
making him open the door.
"Tell me,"
Vansh says and Ridhima takes a moment and locks her eyes with him,
"As I told you today morning, someone is giving some wrong medicines to her. Here are the reports. I know you might not believe me, but then you can check the reports. If still, you won't believe me, then you can leave from the cruise and check it with other top doctors in the world"
says Ridhima in one go.
Ridhima handovers the reports to Vansh while Sher pulls her beside,
"You don't have rights to say about him leaving the cruise, Ridhima,"
says Sher while in return Ridhima replies,
"I know and but he doesn't know it. So stop."
"Oh really, if he wants to leave then what?"
asks Sher while Ridhima smirks,
"He won't. I know him. He will handover Sia to me. You see,"
says Ridhima.
While both are lost in their bickering it is Vansh who is annoyed the most seeing them being so close with each other,
"If you both are done with talking, can we talk?"
asks Vansh
Ridhima and Sher both look Vansh nervously and Ridhima says,
"Yes, of course."
"I know whom you will point out for this Ridhima and I'm quite certain they are part of this. However, I don't want them to know yet and secondly, you will be her doctor. Am I clear?"
asks Vansh with the same commanding baritone to which Ridhima nods into yes.
Ridhima leaves from the place while Sher looks at Vansh and asks
"Why?"
"Vansh: That's my game.
Sher: I know, I'm not asking you to share the strategy but then again, do you need to hurt this woman in the process?
Vansh: It's none of your business.
Sher: What is that you are gaining from her pain? I must tell you this VR, you have lost a wonderful person and let me tell you this, I know you know that you're wrong in many things. But in your ego, you're destroying everything. You don't deserve her dude."
While Sher leaves from the room with the advice which Vansh doesn't want to hear making him break all the things in the room and banging the door with the strength he holds.
*************
Sher rushes behind Ridhima,
"Hey, don't feel bad. You know right how he behaves"
says Sher while Ridhima asks him,
"What are you speaking about?"
"I felt you would be sad seeing him not punishing Kabir and Anupriya?"
says Sher
"Sher, this is not the first time he did this. Even now if I feed sad, then I'm the biggest fool. By now, I have understood how he behaves, so yeah, I damn care about him"
says Ridhima while flicking her hair with a smirk on her face.
"It doesn't hurt anymore right?"
asks Sher
"You know, Sher, I don't feel pain,"
says Ridhima as she is walking towards her room.
Sher stops her with her hand,
"I'm not asking about the physical pain. You know very well, I'm asking about your real pain, Ridhi. So, now tell me"
asks Sher demandingly.
Ridhima takes a deep sign and stares at his eyes,
" It hurts but not harms me anymore,"
she says while walking into her room.
“Hurt but not harm?”
Sher asked.
“What’s the difference?”
asks Sher while following her.
“Hurt is a bruise on the outside.”
Ridhima sipped her mineral water delicately.
“Harm is a bruise on the inside"
she says while putting back the bottle on the table.
Ridhima turns back,
“Aren’t you going to ask me if I’m all right?”
Ridhima says.
“No, I’m pretty sure you’re not all right,"
says Sher while he shakes his head and says,
“I’m going to leave you until we’ve talked about it.”
Ridhima comes and takes the couch while dragging Sher with her,
"...here's what I've learned - people will hurt you, but you don't have to respond - not every means comment or cruel act deserves to be noticed ...”
she says while playing with her fingers.
"Are you really, I mean really Okay, Ridhi?"
asks Sher with concern while the latter smiles and says,
"I loved him until it hurt me until our love was consumed by his pride and rage. The thing which he called love made me disappear and turn into something else. So I had to stop loving."
She Paused.
"It is his love that diminished me. I never meant to hurt him or anyone from his family. I only meant to stop him from hurting me.”
Sher for the first time unable to understand her. He knows something is wrong with her. All her statements are contradicting one another. She is trying so hard to hide something from and he just wants her to burst up. So piling up enough confidence he asks,
“Ridhi, what are you so afraid of? ”
Sher looked at her searchingly.
Ridhiima took a deep breath to calm down and added,
“And I don’t like feeling vulnerable.”
Sher stared at her,
“Being vulnerable is nothing to be ashamed of Ridhima …it’s what makes us human, we all have our moments too.”
She shook her head furiously,
“No! Being vulnerable makes you weak – just like every other emotion … if you allow yourself to care, you only end up getting hurt.”
Sher threw her a consoling look.
“But there’s nothing wrong with caring –”
“No!”
Ridhima interrupted angrily,
“I don’t want to care! You only end up getting hurt … and it hurts so bad that you can’t breathe. I don’t want to feel like that. I don’t want to feel at all! It’s just easier to shut feelings out … if you don’t care about them – you won’t get hurt!”
Sher gets up,
"Since when you turned into like this? This is not the Ridhima I knew. You cried for Benjamin and the other murderers. But, this is not you. I thought after the scuba diving you would have met with your inner peace. Looks like, only for that moment it was Ridhima, but now, it is different and you're different. I don't know this Ridhima at all,"
says Sher leaving her all alone in the room.
Hi Guys, sorry for the delay. I was too busy with the work and yes some of you asked how Broken is updated - well because, it is drafted way before and Judaai always on the time. So for being biased, but handling two stories and office work - at least for me is not an easy task. I'm totally a lazy girl :)
So, until next update - be safe, healthy, kind and courageous - do share your reviews, please :)
