That's what I'm saying Gayu. It's super odd. I feel Reem's dad is saying to create hype.
Even if co stars and production house wanna keep it a secret as they don't want fans to get upset and leave the show, why would Reem's father say that? They have to give production house notice first. Is Reem's father than telling fans first that she's quitting and telling production house after? That doesn't make any sense to me. Reem seems to have a good relationship with the production house.
Even last time, Reem and her dad's story made no sense to me. And its the same this time.
Too many open ended tracks and its confusing. TRP aunties can't keep up.
Like think about it. Diary truth, unresolved, Ahir's murder, unresolved, Malhar's death, unresolved, KalMa's MU, unresolved, Avni's motives, unknown, Aparna track, unresolved, and now Vittal gang mystery, unresolved.
We are having a tough time keeping up, imagine the TRP aunties. Only reason we are even getting 1.2 to 1.3 is because of Shera and SehReem chemistry.
Show was easier to follow along during the hate track. Only issue there was OTT drama and OVERDOSE of negativity.
Simple story and simple conflict is the best.

if we take a recent example, avni blamed shera for 'rape' next day, ithna saj dajke she participated in makar sankranti, no one even spoke about it, how odd is that?
unke ghar ke andar se hi people gets kidnapped, attacked and no one even give a damn about it.
avni kidnapped and tried to harm moksh many times unke hi saamne and kalma still just let him roam around avni and AS, freely. they are not even worried about it.
and there are few more things that i already mentioned many times about kalyani not being worried about anupriya staying in jail all these days, not talking to her about her divorce and bahut kuch.
nothing is logical or realistic in this show.
My thoughts regarding Reem quitting.
One of two options based on what I am hearing.
1. Reem has told everyone she is quitting but since she is only quitting in Feb, everyone is keeping quite about it as they won't want fans to panic and TRPs to fall. But in that case, I'm sure even Reem would have been asked to keep quite about it until closer to the date. So if ger father is telling fans despite it, then they have some big issue with the production house and want the show to fail.
2. No one knows about it and her father is telling fans first. This is beyond unprofessional and would burn bridges with the production house.
My theory is that the whole rumor started off with some old interview video surfacing about Reem quitting in September. Many have said that even when they tried messaging Reem about it, she clarified show was not going off air but didn't clarify that she's not quitting. But all CVS and co actors have confirmed it. So I feel like she is trying to take advantage of the rumors and make some fans think she is quitting soon to scare them into watching the show.
Even last she time she wanted to quit, there was so many odd things about it and turned out, it was a stunt. Like she was saying something and her father was saying something else and none of it made any sense and it was all resolved in 1 day.
Kammo Aunty apparently confirm that no one is leaving...n Show also safe...Sameer shaikh sometimes behave strenge..bar bar agar ekahi questions puchhega to kya answer denge. Its almost everyday ppl asking about show offair someone is quitting makes ppl super annoyed. If Amir sir confirming things or kammo baby confirming that means that news is true but still ppl troubling them like a hell...so set ke sources bhi aajkal answers nahi dete.so agali bar koi aisi news aai n Amir sir ne confirm ki to yeh full n final confirmation samajh lena.
