True, it was mainly for Nannu but even Kuhu was disturbed by how Abir was treating Mishti so cruelly and Mish was badly hurt and crying all the time. So Kuhu helped Mishti inadvertently by telling him the truth. Later also she helped Abir to reach Mishti during Nishmish pre wedding rituals.

Mishti had a slavish approach to love be it her love for her family or for Abir. The girl had no self esteem. For the sake of her family she was ready to be Kuhu’s punching bag forever. Kuhu disowned her everyday but Mish was trying desperately to be sisterly.

Yes of course! Abandoned by her own parents and then sent away by her grandmother to live with an unrelated family, she was like an orphan, too needy for love, always seeking her family’s approval.

Outwardly she was confident and spirited but inside she was like a lost child seeking love and acceptance 😢

Episode 76 last part

Nanu tells Parul that Meenu took control of the household but Parul was the thread that tied this family together.
Meenu is the family’s daughter but what Parul did was more than her duty. Nanu tells Parul not to weaken remembering past memories but to draw strength from them. Parul says nanu is right, she cannot show weakness, she hasn’t questioned anyone till now, not wanting to create rifts in the family but if she remains quiet even now then all her efforts will go to waste. She looks determined👍🏼

MishKu go inside the house where all elders are waiting their return. BP asks them sternly where they’re coming from? Kuhu lies as usual that she wasn’t feeling well so..🤢 .BP tells Mishti to look at him and answer where were they? Mishti confessed they had gone to a party, Kunal’s friend called Kuhu about a surprise party and she wanted Kuhu to bring Kunal. BP asks how did that friend know Kuhu can take Kunal anywhere?

Kuhu tries to speak up but Shaurya shuts her up. They don’t believe her and expect Mishti to tell the truth

Mishti tells BP that KuKu are friends. BP looks sternly at Kuhu

BM asks the girls what’s wrong with them? After what happened between Mishti and Kunal how can this be possible? Mishti says KuKu have been friends for a long time. Whatever problems between the two families it doesn’t mean every member of that family is bad?
BP says families make and break relationships, no individual member can be more important than the family! The way the RJVs behaved with Mahs they don’t even want them as enemies and they are making friends with them? BP tells KuKu relationship ends right now. Kuhu starts crying

Mishti tries to plead with BP but he stops her with a raised hand!

Kunal tells Abir he has to listen to him but Abir says he won’t until he answers all his questions about shweta

Kunal agrees on the condition that Abir answers all his questions

Abir asks why did Kunal go to shweta inspite of Abir’s warning? Kunal says he didn’t know it was Shweta’s party. Kuhu had told him it was a surprise, Abir says that surprise was Shweta, didn’t he ask shweta how did she know Kuhu? Kunal says Kuhu told him everything, shweta tricked Kuhu to reach him

Abir asks does Kunal realize shweta is playing tricks on him. Kunal says he doesn’t care what shweta does. He only cares for his family and his brother

Abir asks Kunal so he doesn’t feel anything for shweta?

BM tells Mishti she won’t listen to anything from them. BP’s friend Mr Chauhan’s son is back from Australia, Kuhu will meet him

Kuhu who’s crying asks what if she doesn’t like the guy? Varsha tells her they won’t force her to marry, she can keep on meeting boys for alliance but she won’t meet Kunal ever again

Mishti tells BP they were very scared ....Kuhu adds that they would react exactly the way they are now.
Kuhu asks Is a daughter’s freedom only acceptable until it’s convenient for everyone? If she does something that the family objects to then her freedom is taken away

Kuhu asks BM what was her fault? Alliance was for her, she liked the boy but she didn’t say anything when his mom switched choice at the last minute. Mishti broke off the alliance but he’s still talking to her, he’s still her friend

What’s the problem if she loves Kunal?

Mish begs BP to listen to them

BM starts crying, Mish begs her not to cry. BM says Kuhu likes a boy whose mom has humiliated Mishti and their family.

Jas says Meenu is such a rude woman, just think what kind of MIL she will be! For once Jas is right!

BP tells Kuhu she might think him a bad person but he won’t allow MishKu to keep any relationship with them! That’s final!

Kunal tells Abir he had a relationship with Shweta and it ended but it’s very difficult to move on. It’s true when shweta returned Kunal got emotional but he kept away from her because Abir wanted that

Abir says Kunal should take his own decisions not follow Abir’s or mom’s wishes. Kunal is smart he can see shweta is a fraud, she’s cheating him, he should find someone who actually loves him, he should learn to value them

Kunal angrily tells Abir to value him and mom because only they love him the most

Abir says he knows that but now they’re it talking about him. Kunal says they’re talking about abir and ....before he can say Mishti, Meenu interrupts their argument and tells Kunal to talk to his older brother with respect, to lower his voice. People in this house will listen when spoken respectfully. Yeah right! As if Meenu respects anyone, not even nanu!

Kunal stomps off angrily, Parul observed from above

Abir follows Kunal but Meenu tells him to leave Kunal alone. Abir tells her Kunal is upset because of Shweta’s return. Meenu looks up at Parul who looks upset

Mishti trying to placate Kuhu that she knew her relationship with Kunal won’t be easy. Kuhu as always blames Mishti that ever since she came into Kuhu’s life she’s been miserable, her life had become difficult 🤢

Why did Mishti have to tell everyone the truth?

The elders should have shown MishKu the pics sent by Meenu then Kuhu would know she was caught anyway beforehand

Mishti asks how would she marry Kunal hiding the truth from family? Kuhu claims she would have married him somehow! Dumb desperate girl

Kuhu says she would have eloped or done anything to marry him, why did Mishti interfere? 🤪

Mishti reminds Kuhu she was the one who brought KuKu closer, she tolerated Kunal’s taunts so he talks nicely to Kuhu and she’s blaming her? Kuhu mocks Mishti is trying to prove she’s great! Both tell each other to shut up

Kuhu furiously asks, does Mishti even know how it feels when love fails? How painful it is? Mish doesn’t even know what love is! Then she should be silent! Kuhu can’t listen to her greatness in her grief! Mish had made her love life impossible.
Kuhu swore to God that she would do the same to Mishti when she falls in love. Mishti will never get the one whom she loves! Again Kuhu’s words echoing means writers will make it come true, at least temporarily. Kuhu the great whose bhavishya vani is always proved right by her adoring writers!🤪

I did not get why BM BP and shaurya varsha didnt show kuku pics to kuhu? She would not blame mishti then 😒 Or probably she still would have!

How was kuhu going to elope when she didnt even know if kunal loved her yet? Ek tarfa pyar and upar se confidence bhi dekho 😛

last bold para - that part boiled my blood literally. I dont why and how mish listened to that bullsh*t! Mishti had done practically everything to help kuhu with her insane one sided obsession for kunal, and instead of being grateful, she was talking rubbish. 😡

Epi 77 part 1 - Oh NO! Epi starts with the horrible girl's horrible curse! I SO SO SO wish mishti's parents were there to protect her here 😒

Anyway, Abir (in his white vest, looking sexy and trying to ease the pain of earlier scene) is playing dheere dheere se on guitar ❤️

Kunal is waiting for his mom and parul comes there. He tells her he is waiting for his mom (meenu) and she should leave. Meenu comes there and kunal tells her, he wants to talk in private. Parul leaves (poor lady) 😔 Meenu thinks he wants to talk about shweta (so as per her plan, mishku's chapter was over here right? She insulted mah's and also departed shweta already). But kunal tells he is upset because of abir. He tells her abir likes mish! She is shocked as expected.

Haww, meenu slapped kunal when he said abir is in love with mishti And after hearing her self blames, he takes the blame on himself that mishbir are getting closer He behaves like another avatar of mish sometimes! bichda hua bhai. They both dont even feel insult when it comes to their so called families 😵

Epi 77 part 2 - continuation of kunal-meenu scene and he gets a call from kuhu. He is about to reject it but meenu tells him to take the call (ok, so here is when they form a plan to fake kuku's alliance while kunal had no interest in even talking to her). I sometimes feel second hand embarrassment for kuhu

aww abir texted her good night 😳 she texts him back that she isnt sleepy and he directly video calls her (boyfriend ho toh aisa )

Kuhu tells kunal that her family wants her to meet some saurav. Meenu tells him to tell her to meet next day.

Aww mish spotted the painting behind abir 😳 and abir tries to hide it which irks her.

Mishku in their room (mish already forgot about the utter rubbish kuhu spoke. I dont know why I was even expecting something from her). Mish gets very happy knowing kunal is coming to meet her.

kuku meet in abir's ngo. (again secondhand embarrassment, oh god!) Kunal friend-zones her but even after that she tells him she loves him (itna stupid kaun hota hai?)🤔 Meenu who is on the call and listening to all this wants kunal to stop her but network is lost. Kunal stops her anyway and asks for a day's time to speak to his mom 🤓

Episode 77- first part

Kuhu cursing Mishti and it echoes! That Mishti will never get the one she loves. Ooh scary Kuhu! 🤪

Mishti remembers those words echo again and looked disturbed. Was she already feeling something?

She remembers her embracing Abir in the washroom and hugs herself, closing her eyes❤️

She can feel something had changed between them but not yet ready to face her heart

Abir’s playing Dheerey Dheerey se on his guitar at his window, remembering himself zipping her dress, their eyelock in the dark, Mishti telling him that she trusted him more than herself.❤️

The tortured look on Abir’s face as he played the haunting romantic melody was a reflection of his longing for Mishti

He looked very 🔥 in this scene, that intense look on his face, the agonized eyes!

Kunal sitting alone, disturbed and upset heard footsteps and thought it was his mother. But it’s Parul, Kunal tells her he had asked Jugnu to call his mom and tells her to leave. Meenu enters and berates him for misbehaving with his brother earlier and now with Parul

Kunal says he needs to tell her something that’s not meant for bhai or maasi

Parul leaves sadly. Meenu thinks Kunal is upset about Shweta but he tells her he’s upset with Abir.
Kunal drops the bombshell, bhai likes Mishti. Meenu is shocked

Kunal says Mishti is taking Abir away from them and he’s feeling helpless. Meenu is shaken, says he must be mistaken, he says he saw them with his own eyes. Meenu says it’s impossible! (Why did she think it’s impossible?) 😕

Abir washes his face, he’s all hot and bothered. Remembers his first meetings with Mishti, their cab ride, clasped hands, her tightly hugging him.

Abir rubs his face and shayari flows from his aching heart

Dil jab Dil ke pass tha tab har dhadkan se baat hui thi

Ek dhadkan kehti pass raho doosri kehti doori rakh

Teesri kehti ishq hai yeh

Sabse cheez zaroori rakh

Mishti standing on her balcony lost in thoughts

Abir lying on the bed, eyes closed as his laptop flashed pics of Mishti

Tera dil, Teri dhadkan ummeed Teri

Teri uljhan ko Ab main pehchanta hoon

This sequence was incredibly romantic, sensuous and poignant ☺️

Kunal tells Meenu he thinks Bhai loves Mishti

Meenu slaps him, he’s stunned!

She tells him to never repeat that again! Abir maybe rude to her, argues with her, never obeys her but he’s her son! She trusts her son as much as she trusts Goddess Saraswati, Abir will never break her trust

Hain, what does trust have to do with her son falling in love? 😕

Meenu thinks she insulted Ma Saraswati by breaking the sitar so the goddess is punishing her by breaking her trust in Abir

Lol Meenu is so melodramatic and dumb! What does the goddess have to do with Abir falling in love? He’s a normal guy, he can fall in love! Did Meenu think her son will never fall in love? 🤣

Meenu remembers Abir defending Mishti and fighting on her behalf, Abir mumbling Mishti’s name in his sleep, Abir protecting Mishti from Ved. She realizes the truth was right in front of her but she didn’t see it! Because her attention was focused on Kunal and she forgot she had another son! Meenu regretted her mistake

Kunal says all this is his fault as Mishbir met because of him, Mishti is manipulating bhai because of him. He should have listened to mom before and backed out of their alliance

But how would he know that bhai would forge a bond with the girl that Kunal broke off with?

Meenu says they’re not responsible for all this, it’s Mishti who is to blame! She’s from a broken family, how would she know the value of a family? Mishti wants to break her family and Meenu won’t allow that at any cost! Mishti has made a mistake and she will pay for it! Kunal pledges her support! Meenu tells Kunal they have to plan carefully.

Yawn there goes again, MKWS 😵

Kuhu calls Kunal, Meenu tells him not to cut her call

Mishti gets goodnight message from Abir, she messages him she can’t sleep, he asks why? She says reply will be too long to type so can she call?

Over eager Abir video calls her at once. 😆 He tells her he knows what she wants to discuss. She’s surprised how did he know her family know about KuKu? Abir is shocked

Kunal on the phone with Kuhu tells her to calm down, why did she lie to her family to go out with him? Kuhu says boys don’t have the problem of getting permission so he doesn’t know how hard it’s for a girl to get permission to meet a boy especially one who has a history with her family!

Meenu is listening to KuKu conversation on speakerphone

Kuhu tells Kunal her family wants her to meet a Saurav to get married

Meenu signals Kunal to tell Kuhu to meet him next day, Kunal asks Kuhu, she agrees saying she will have to lie convincingly again

Mishti tells Abir they have to tell the truth

Abir says now that truth is out he will ask Kunal what’s in his heart. Mishti asks what if he refuses? Abir tells her she’s always angry and violent, why can’t she ever be positive?
When love confronts you have to accept!
Mishti spots the covered painting behind Abir, she says it’s not in front but the painting is behind him. Abir quickly moves so painting is out of Mishti’s sight,😆 he tells Mishti to stop snooping around his room. 😆
Mishti tells him then he should stop video calling her. He refuses

Mishti says okay then next time he video calls she will tie a blindfold on her eyes like Duryodhan’s mom 🤣

Abir tries to explain but Mish is angry (jealous?) she tells him she had called him to discuss about Kuhu but he’s more interested in hiding his painting in the blue velvet! So he can go ahead and hide it. She can solve her own family’s problems herself. She angrily tells him to hug his painting and go to sleep! She calls him Mr Abir Fida Husain painter! 🤣
She hangs up

Abir says her painting is better than her! At least it doesn’t yell at him! 😆

Mishti wonders what’s so special in that painting? Why doesn’t Abir tell her? Should she ask him again?

Bold: That’s true! Mishti and Kunal are very similar in their devotion to their families. Mishti feels gratitude to her foster family, Kunal is not even aware he’s not Meenu’s son but somehow feels indebted to her! Like Mishti feels to her family. Why does Kunal feel that way? Was there something in Meenu’s behavior towards him that he felt she was to be obeyed without question? That he should protect and follow her wishes at all cost? 😕
