I can tell you what happens in Tamil.

1. Saranya's insult at breakfast where they make her feel like begger and she leaves without having breakfast.
2. Dileep (Mohit) loses his job. Saranya and Vikram are not at home.
Entire family will insult him and Pakhi will support him and calm kaku down.
She will also tell him that she will help him with job search each and Mohit is very thankful to Pakhi.
Karishma and Omi/ Sonali will be happy with Pakhi
3. After few episodes , Mohit still doesnt have job. He wants Karishma to make some special food for him, which she is scared to make thinking that kaku will shout on her. But he will convince her and she will make it. When he is about to eat, Kaku and gang will come there and berate him for eating special food when he doesn't even have a job. She will be like eat what everyone eats and not to have your own likes etc and about to throw the food. Pakhi tries to say something, but Kaku will be on a different tangent, so she says mum.
At this point Saranya will come, she doesn't know the background, but she will side Mohit as she knows how it feels to be insulted while eating and probably ann ka apman etc. She will defend him fiercely against everyone.
She will convince him to eat and also tells him that he is like his elder brother.
Mohit will be so touched that someone is willing to go this far to take a stand against kaku and everyone as it will be the first time.
This will further create a divide between Karishma and Mohit.
Everyone will be upset with Saranya again.
Vikram was not involved in this drama as far as I remember which is why he will be surprised when Dileep speaks for Saranya when Vikram is against Saranya in the huge fight after she goes to Professor's house .
