Part 12

She sat nervously twinging her fingers together as she waited for the doctor to call her in.

"Dr. Malik will see you now" the receptionist spoke breaking her out of her thoughts, she looked up and smiled at her.

Taking a deep breath, she looked towards the idol of bappa and gathered herself before going in.

She went in and looked at Aryan's back and then at Dr Malik sitting opposite to him. She licked her lip anxiously and pulled the chair and sat beside Aryan.

He wasn't looking at her. Is it going to be a bad news? She bit her lips and prayed.

"Let's began" Doctor Malik cleared his throat and smiled at both of them.

"I already told you, only one person from the registry match with what we are looking for" He said reviewing the folder.

"You don't have a child right?" he closed the folder and sighed.

"No" she said closing her eyes and letting the tears run down her cheek

"Why are you crying?" Aryan whispered, pressing the back of her palm

"I have tested all your friends and you know the outcome" he said disappointed.

"What about Aryan. He's also a Raisinghnania" Ridhima sobbed

"It doesn't work like that Ridhima" Dr Malik pressed his lips together

"However" He said smiling

"Aryan is indeed a match, it's a miracle" he added, making her face lit up

"Does that mean...?" She smiled through her tears and Aryan caressed her back

"As soon as possible" Dr Malik said making her wipe her tears and looking at Aryan

"Thank you"

"How much will it cost? I will arrange-"

"You don't have to worry about it, Mjhpe chod do" Aryan said receiving a warm smile from her.

It has been 4 hours she was gone. In last 4 hours Vansh kept walking upto the door and unlocking his phone every other minute. From checking his watsapp to call logs. He didn't even eat lunch properly.

"Why are you dressed up? Are you going somewhere" Angre scanned him

"Ridhima can call any minute, I don't want to waste time getting ready, I have to pick her" he said irritated.

"You are acting like a road side Romeo bhai" Ishani giggled high fiving with Angre.

"Yeah, better than your husband" he rolled his eyes making Angre gasp "What have I done man?" He said

"Nothing. But apart from my friend you're my jija ji too, I can pull your leg" he winked at Ishani, high fiving her

"Ye sahi h, tum dono se maze lo" Angre slightly hit Ishani on shoulder and laughed

"Kitta acha lagra h na bhai, aap kitte khush ho.. it's been so long.." She hugged him sideways and smiled contently

"All because of Ridhhima" Sia said opening her camera and clicking their picture

"Wese where is she?" Sia asked sweeping her eyes around

"She's gone to the gynae" Shravan replied.

"Why would she?" Came Ananya's voice receiving glare from vansh as Shravan widened his eyes. Ananya was sleeping and they haven't told her the plan. Oh f***, Shravan sweared

"You don't know?" Vansh asked frowning

"Of course she does, she told you remember?" He said signalling Ananya to say yes but Vansh was no fool he can read something was wrong

"Oo..yes" she stuttered

"I totally forgot" she gulped and smiled fakely

"Yeah, now remember when you were asking her to take you along but she refused" Vansh asked her casually, his eyes on Shravan so he doesn't signal her

"Yeah of course, how could I let her go alone but then... She said.. so.." she said nervously

"What is going on?" Vansh yelled and his voice echoed in the house. Everyone stopped talking not realising what happened.

"Boss?" Angre said shocked at the rate his boss changed his mood

"Angre, Call city hospital, find out where is Ridhima" he gritted his teeth in anger and hurt

"Here is Ridhhima" Came her voice as she entered the hall.

He closed his eyes and wiped his hand down his face to control his temper

"You said you will call" he said sternly, not turning around to look at her

"Yes but then-"

"Then what?" He screamed

"What the fu*k is wrong with you psycho" Ananya screamed back at him

"Ananya" Ridhima raised her finger.

"I want to talk to him" she paused "in private" she announced. Everyone looked at them both except Aryan who was staring at her face hoping she will handle it. He gave her a nod and went towards his room as did others.

"First of all Mr. Singhania, ask Whatever questions you have because once I speak I won't let you and once I am done I won't stay to hear you" She said in a determined voice

"Where. were. you?" He said, stressing at each word

"I was at the hospital, use your sources and your men and don't trust me I don't even expect you to or better I don't even Care" she spat bitterly making his face fell

"I went with Aryan and by the time I was free he finished his work too, he was passing by and asked me if I am still here, now I don't see a point of unnecessarily disturbing you mr. Singhania" She explained "and don't even think I am saying all this in my defense, no! But I know the filth in your head, the distrust and the kind of ego problems you have, I don't want my friends or the family specifically my dadi and Aryan to suffer because of your mood swings" she completed

"You said Ananya ditched-"

"I was coming to that, she didn't but I didn't want to trouble her and you won't listen if I said I wanted to go there alone.. because.."

"Because?" He raised his brow and finally turned towards her

"Because i go to the orphanage, it's nearby and I stay there away from everything for sometime, it gives me peace" She said trying hard to act natural. He didn't react. She was desperate to know if he accepted her lie or will he find out on his own but she didn't bring her worries on her face

"Now Mr. Singhania, first thing first, we are only together for now so we don't have to live together for rest of our lives so don't think you have any rights on me or you owe me. Yes I will make you food and I will bring you coffee because we have to act like trying to sort it out but don't expect me to stand here with my head hung when you shout on me or worse assassinate my character-"

"When did I?" He said shocked

"When did you not? When did you even trust me? When clearly you were the one not worth to be trusted." She spat almost sobbing by now "you are impossible and I don't even know anymore how I tolerated you and your bullshit for those months! Don't get me started on the torcher I endured otherwise you and your family will face numerous attempt to murder charges!!" She yelled her lungs out.

"Say something Mr. Singhania, scream, yell, bark at me, anything is better than keeping quiet and acting all innocent like you never did any of that or you never knew what your family did! and here you are trying to get back with me? With all these people, with you, reminding me everyday of the horror and hell I faced. And then you act like a possessive protective husband?" She scoffed, hysterically shaking her head. "You disgust me" she threw him a digusted look and ran towards her room.

He looked at her retreating form a sharp pain stabbing his heart.

A very small update

So there is a kid, who is ill. And they need either a DNA match or blood match, I’m gonna go with the former. A transplant? My mind is going all over the place. Plis continue soon. 🙈
