Chapter 12

Shimla

Sejal and Ridhima were lost in there past about the incident that had happened in their childhood. It was when they were 6-7yrs old when it took place. As always it a one of the day when a couple was going to come to take a child from their orphanage and complete their family. It was always ridhima's dream to have a family, lots of people to love. She always wanted to belong.sejal was her best friend in the orphanage they both had decided that if one of them got selected the other one should also come with them. They were both getting ready, Ridhima got ready in her favorite dress and two pigtails, as everyone always complimented that she looked cute like that. And Sejal to got ready in her favorite preety dress...both of them were really excited. They went out in the garden once they were ready. The couple came in after a while, played with everyone, spent some time with everyone and took leave after completing all the formalities. Later they got to know that it was not them. That they were not getting their family this time too. Ridhima had sat at her bed and cried all noon thinking that no one wants them. Sneha di was a volunteer in the orphanage, she used to come there to play with them always. She was one of them everyone loved her. When she understood the situation she came to ridhima and sat beside her.

Sneha ‘Kya hua ridhu ? Roo kuy rahi hai. Tumhe pata hai na hum sab kitne sad ho jate hai tujhe rota dekh. Kya hua hai baccha ?’

Ridhima ‘Koi mujse pyaar kuy nai karta. Mujhe bhi family chaiye.’and saying this she started crying again.

Sneha took her in her lap and hugged her tight.

Sneha ‘Ridhu meri taraf dekh.’ once she had her attention, she continued ‘Ek baat hamesha yaad rakhna ridhima. zindagi mai kuch bhi ho jaye, kabhi khud se pyaar karna mat chod dena. Log bhot milenge tumhe bade hoke. Bhot vade karenge tumhe payaar ka lekin agar nai bhi kiya na koi, to kabhi kisi ke saamne haat mat felana. Do anything you want in your life but never beg for love. Agar vo pyaar karte honge tumse to tumhe jarur milenge, aur agar nai karte to vo unka loss hai. Hai naa...kyon ki Ridhima sabse pyaari hai aur use to koi bhi mil jayega pyaar karne vala. Lekin Ridhima jisse pyaar karegi..uske liea uski zindagi savar degi. Jese tum sejal ke sath rehti ho. ’

Saying this she up looked at Sejal who was standing at the door and called her near her.

‘Tum bhi yaad rakhna sej, aur zindagi mai kabhi ek dusre ka saath mat chodna.’

It was a wise advice from their childhood. They always did anything and everything keeping their self respect intact, never compromised on it. They were there for each other and never asked for someone else's support, until kabir. He ruined her life and along with her he also harmed Sejal. Both the men in my life used me for there own purposes, brought me in their personal grudge. Just because I am an orphan and have no one to back me up, both of them used me like a toy. I'll never forget what they did to me. Thinking this she came out of her thoughts and looked at Sejal. She was still lost...

Ridhima ‘Sejal chal andar chalte hai. Tune kuch khaya bhi nai hai abhi tak, mai kuch bana deti hu hum dono ke liea.’

Sejal came out of thoughts and looked at ridhima and smiled.

Sejal ‘Yaad hai na riddhi, kabhi kisi ke liea apne self respect ko daav pe nai lagana abhi. Khud ke liea jina hai. Khud se pyaar karogi to baki log bhi karenge apne aap.’

Both smiled and went inside. It was a tiring day.

VR Mansion

Vansh handed over all the proofs and the documents that he had of the incidents and gave his statement regarding everything. Anupriya was charged for murder and attempted murder and kabir was charged to part take in the crimes and was removed from his job to go against the laws of the country and the oath he had taken while becoming an officer. They were going to get the harshest punishment for what they had done to there family.

They were taken way from the Mansion once all the formalities were done.

The mansion was silent after all the revelations, there was a lot to take in for them.

Dadi looked at vansh and asked him,

Dadi ‘Vansh..’ once he looked at her she continued,‘Tumne kaha tha umaa ka murder hua tha. Aur Ragini ko use kisne mara ye baat pata thi, iss liea vo mari gayi. Sia ko bhi pata chal gaya tha iss liea uspe hamla kiya gaya. Hamare ghar mai. Lekin Ridhima...Ridhima kaha hai vansh ?’

‘Hamare apne ghar mai... Mere apne ghar mai mere baccho pe hamla hota raha aur mujhe pata bhi nai chala. Umaa, Sia, ishani, Ridhima sab ke upar Anupriya ne hamla kiya aur mai kuch nai kar payi. Vansh mai sab ka samaj sakti hu. Uma nai rahi ab, sia hospital mai hai... Vo thik bhi ho rahi hai abhi. Doctor ka phone aaya tha subha. Ishani mere saamne bethi hai sahi salamat. Lekin Ridhima...vo kaha hai vansh ? ’

Vansh didn't have any answer to her questions. He know his dadi won't be able to take it. The things he did to Ridhima just because of his misunderstandings and jealousy. How will he face her after what he did to her. She had loved him all along and he...he never deserved her. But he needs to be open to his family after what had happened in the past. Wasn't it all because of the secrets that his family never trusted him. Never had his back. He needs to come clean with them regarding Ridhima.

Thinking about it he started telling them everything about his and ridhima's relation. How he met her, why he married her. Her and Kabir's relation. All the things that happened after that. The incidents that had taken place in the house, the attacks on her. There misunderstandings. The love she had for his family especially sia and dadi. The cliff incident. Him coming back as Vihaan, taunting her for Vansh's death, putting her in corner ,humiliating her, not trusting her when she said she was being attacked by his family, not believing her when she told him about Anupriya. Taking her for granted. Testing her loyalty again and again. Blaming her for every incident. Blaming her for what happened to sia. The revenge he planned upon her. Everything...he told them everything that he did to her just because he didn't trust her and doubted her every step she took. Threatening her to harm her friend if she didn't listen to him,just because she loved kabir befor coming in there lives. And at last the last incident that took three months back. Him blaming her, questioning her decisions and her loyalty to his family,and the way he asked her to leave the house. He doesn't know where she is now. Where he should find her to ask for her forgiveness. How will he repent all the wrong decisions that he made.

Just as he finished, he was pulled back and slapped by his dadi. Everyone was shocked looking shamed. Thinking about all that they had done to her. All the things that came out today we're eye opening. He knows he deserves it. And he couldn't be more ashamed of himself.
