Is Ek Din a magic realism romance?
I've said this before ekta's character was shitty but heart was in right place. You could feel for them despite of all their faltugiri. Here character didn't develop properly specially riddhima's. Even on paper it's bad. These characters are the brain child of mamta. She should have hired some one who could understand her characters. Or may be it's completely her fault she couldn't convey her message properly, in short lack of coordination. In my previous tv experience I saw creative heads were passionate about things, noted the small things. Nivedita, vikas, richa 3 of them were quite same. At least working pattern wise. There was a proper tuning. Richa & noel worked together in geet & together they're fire. Here even direction is not that great. & noel is not a bad director. So tell me whose fault it is.
See, ek hota hain story/plotting (which is controlled by the channel quite a lot). Dusra hota hain fleshing out of characters using thoughts, emotions, etc. I am talking about the latter.
I dont know about who all are women writers in ITV but Nivedita Basu did understand women better, though everything else was shitty. Kyunki, Kahaani were trashy...the women were oversanskari...but they were well-fleshed out.
I remember I cried for Tulsi, Ganga, etc when they were mistreated. My mom n I clapped and cheered when Tulsi gave it back to her saas or Mihir.
I rarely feel the same emotion for Riddhima (except in epi 14 and Vansh's death epi)...mujhe uspe gussa zyada aata hain.
I can actually write 3 page essay on problem of this show. Itna problem hai ki ek chees start karo toh unintentionally dusre pe dhyan chali hi jati.
Ye larki bhi apnai pati ki tera e abnormal hai 😆 any normal gal would get fear but she is not normal 😆
Riddhima will not leave VR mansion any sooner to mujhe aisa lagta h when all will refuse to identify her .... Fir all of a sudden again a time limit will be set by someone and will ask her to prove that she is Riddhima Vansh Risinghania😆
