How is the morning?

My morning began with singing Ek do teen... Right up to tera (13)😅 Kya karein. In the 13 minutes of Sai flirting on the phone -- she did it so well haan -- I thought Chavan saheb was never going to make it. I mean even in the most crucial part of the conversation he was still talking to Patthar-lekha in the zillat arena and had me literally screaming "Please go to your room, quickly ACP, ye abhi tak yahan Kyun khada hai 😅" Thank God he reached at the time when she uttered 'miss kar rahi thi' 😂😂. But first, first:

The conversation I was waiting for since yesterday - Kaku and her Makad Sena launching a pea-brained attack on Chavan saheb 😄 Sukoon Mila. The dialogues were such gems from Kaku. And I loved the expression of exasperation, dismay and disappointment that Virat felt for this family. His questions on their sickening mentality around the "divorcee" status of the daughter of the house was on point: "Sirf isiliye kyunki Shivani Bua talaqshuda Hain?"

And Kaku's regret about not confining Shivani to the house "Doosre talaq ke baad taange todkar" was such a objectionable one.

The scene explained the way this family has been functioning all these years : Whatever they speak of the 'pride' of the family is only applicable until it can be viewed by public. When no one is watching, the hooligan Makad Sena will trample upon it. So Bhavani's chant about Swargiya Nagesh Chavan that we hear so often was exposed. Here stands the Kaku, whose only reason for taking pride in her chaheeta betas is the status they enjoy professionally -- ek police aur ek army -- tells the police officer to not even think of taking the course of law to bring to justice a perpetrator of a crime against the daughter of the house. And she gets backing by the most loyal senapati Ninad, who is said to have served in the forces (it's no certificate that he'd be a gentleman though). The obnoxious lack of understanding is not because of the talaqshuda status but because she's one of the "shubh chintaks" of the "biwi" who is trying to "baantofy" the parivaar.

As expected, the guns are trained at "Tumhari Biwi" for taking a stand, protecting the fake pride of the family (but real dignity of the daughter of the house), insulting elders, demeaning the significance of the apology offered by Queen B and shutting up the outsiders.

Ashwini, after being at the receiving end, delivered a gem: Sai hi thi jisne sabki bolti bandh Kara di, Jo ham me se koi Nahi Kar paaya. (Sai, She always does in whichever way 😄)

And Virat adding : "Un auraton ko aaina dikhaya..." It was true. The women, who didn't even have the nerve to question the man of the house arrived to splash ink on the woman he has cheated (while also cheating his wife) and make her sit on the 'chauraaha' and a family full of custodians of Chavan Khandaan ki izzat is ready to "apologize" for the 'misconduct' of the daughter of the house and thrash the 'bahu' for trying to protect that izzat! It was such a revealing sequence where the absolute need to belittle and manipulate anyone who questions overrides the basic 'scruples' that every human must possess. Bhavani will never validate her chaheeta beta's feelings because it doesn't fit into her fragile reasons for her 'pride', especially for a girl "jiska na khoon hamare jaisa na parivaar". Lekin ghar ki beti? Whose khoon does she have? Unfortunately, it will be passed off as 'purane khayalat' because it does sound like that on the face of it. 😒

I am glad this scene happened in absence of Sai because she wouldn't have kept quiet to allow these people to reveal themselves. Her 'rude' retort to Ninad has already shifted the entire focus on Virat's constant 'going against the family' argument. No one is bothered about Shivani's heartbreak or morale. Virat could clearly see, in absence of Sai, the persistence with which the blame was being shifted on to Sai for the fiasco. "Kya zaroorat thi Sai ko uss ladke se Milne ki?" Oh, it did hit him a bit because he still didn't know that Sai knew this guy 😂 But thankfully, his focus shifted back with another gem from the Susheel mouth of Makad Sena spokesperson:

"Na Sai uss ladke se Mili Hoti na itna bada tamasha hota..."

I mean Patthar-didi ki akkal par kaunse pahad ke patthar pade Hain? Virat, today, for the first time looked like he would consider advising her a maturity course too 😂 silently also thanking Bappa for saving him from this kind of true love 🤣

And a question to Despokhi that needed no answer: "Agar tumhe badon ki izzat ki itni hi parvah hai toh Tumne Shivani Bua ke baare me Kyun Nahi socha."

Chavan saheb, your Kaku has a habit of giving golden advice in her moment of acerbic taunt. She told you, "Patthar pe sar maaro ya sar pe patthar, footega toh sar hi" use your upsc topper brain and add context to the sentence. (Waise, today they used two words that we have been using here for Didi - Patthar and Jali huyi. Keep it coming guys kya pata they might look for ideas here 😂😂)

Sai in her bubbly prankster avtaar was so cute! I loved her entire look today -- generally don't comment but she did look extremely pretty in that pastel colour.

I loved how she kept muting the call to pass remarks and also the way she apologized to Shivani multiple times while making references to the unpleasant facts.

The whole conversation was giving me such an adrenaline rush just to have Chavan saheb hear all of it. But thank God he didn't come earlier because (unlike the Bengali version where Ranajay hears the entire conversation quietly and only speaks when Emon disconnects) Chavan Saheb se toh teen sentence bardasht Nahi huye 😂😂😂

He, finally, appeared at the door when she just uttered what he has been wanting to her for himself - "Main na tumhe kab se miss kar rahi thi 😂". Bechara! 😅 Although it was very evident to him what she was doing (I want to believe so), he couldn't help feel a bit possessive too -- apart from the fact that he might not approve of this plan for logical reasons. And then the cherry 🍒 "Mere Pati bohat khadoos Hain... Wo toh na mujhse baat karte Hain aur na hi pyaar (Chavan saheb's BP breaching the normal diastolic function)... Main Apne Pati ko handle kar loongi. Tum bas hamare baare me socho, mere aur tumhare baare me (BP machine mercury has no more space to expand 😂)." Isse aage toh mazaak me bhi kuch aur sun paana is impossible 🤣 so then he couldn't help but go with a very loud "Kis se baat Kar rahi ho, Sai?" Ab Chavan saheb, you already knew the answer phir bhi you have a habit of asking unnecessary questions. Just one question (i know TV show hai but poochne me kya jaata hai): This Amey guy actually believed that this 'IPS Officer ki biwi hoon main' bolne wali wanted to start an affair with him 😆. That too, after he witnessed how desperately the IPS officer wanted to video-check his wife. Iski dhulayi toh Banti hai, first for his bewakoofi 😄😄 and then for the dhokha.

So there is going to be a LOT of LOUD drama next week.

I know his roaring "Bass Sai" scared my dewdrop 😒 but I will hold back my chappals until I see the actual scene. Virat wouldn't shut her up unless she utters something really, really uncalled for in her fit of rage. I really hope you have a convincing reason to ask her to keep quiet in that kind of a bellowing tone in full view of the undeserving chakrams. I believe he does know in his heart that they are useless but breaking away from family is not easy. Almost every man caught in this kind of a situation would try to be as 'just' as possible. So if Sai has said something that oversteps 'manners', he may not be wrong. I am not using the word 'he is right'. But sometimes, two people can actually be right at the same time from their own perspectives. I, personally, do not believe that one needs to step over the line of manners to firmly put anyone in their place so I kind of understand the only one complaint Virat has 🙁. So I will wait for the complete picture before launching my attack on Chavan saheb 😄. I'm a bit sad that there are so less discussions on the episode as compared to the precap. I have the guns loaded as well, but i'm gonna wait till Monday for the complete picture before any judgement😆

Coming to the epi, it was such a good one. The family drama was not as intense as it usually is, which means I did not skip it 🤪

Ashwini said the right things and so did Virat. I'm so glad he highlighted the fact that Shivani should have the right to happiness even if she is divorced. Oh and nobody should miss the look he gave when they told him Sai met Amey. It was swept under the carpet easily, it was there😆

I havnt watched the episode yet but I’m one of those who did discuss only precap. I wasn’t going to watch today’s episode but I’ll give Virat the benefit of the doubt and watch it. Hoping he has a good reason to be angry.
the only time I ever saw him this angry was when Sai was spying on them when they were having a secret meeting .. he was furious then bc he would have by mistake just hurt her w his gun. Other times, he’s been stern but never this angry!!
I can’t wait to watch Sai flirting haha if Virat heard the full thing and he actually feels a ting, that can help me through monday! Can’t believe I’m so obsessed over a show after ages haha I wish we get great SaiRat scenes to make up for this mess ..

Same here. I have only watched the precap on YouTube. Will have to watch the full episode as from reading this thread it seems like a good one and not to be missed. Precap did get me upset though, however as all of you gals are saying lets give Mr. Chavan benefit before blazing him out. Let's hope he does prove us wrong.

It feels like you read my mind. You said everything I wanted to say . When Virat was in the living room, I only had one thing in my mind when will he go to his room. I was afraid he won't make it on time and that's what happened. I wanted him to hear when Sai was saying baby and when Amey was praising her beauty. Though we might not get to see the jealous Virat, I hoPe we get a scene where Virat is surprised to see this side of Sai.

Regarding precap, Virat has tons of patience and he has remained calm even when he was called a wife-beater. If such a man is losing his cool then there must be a reason for it so I will wait till the episode airs . I admire Sai’s certain traits but at times she can provoke people easily. Unfortunately, Sai was too loud and like yesterday she again deviated the discussion .

The episode started with a BANG! Kaku stopped Virat thinking he will take their side and she will do chugli of Sai, but he very politely told them his views and tried to explain them the situation * They still don’t take him seriously though*

I’m glad Sai isn’t scared of this family and is doing her best to get justice for Shivani. She’s a gem 💎

Sometimes I wonder, even Sai raises her voice when she’s being attacked, is it wrong?
I mean I understand she’s 18 and K&G(Kaku and gang) are way elder to her, but she coz you are older, doesn’t mean you are right! Virat has been trying to explain the same thing quietly , but no one gives him or his words bhav!

Regarding precap, Virat has tons of patience and he has remained calm even when he was called a wife-beater. If such a man is losing his cool then there must be a reason for it so I will wait till the episode airs . I admire Sai’s certain traits but at times she can provoke people easily.
