They are trying to arise many social issues. That's good. But it seems very depressing. So i will skip this.

they mustve offered it to Hum first and they rejected it or some other issue arised so they had to move it to tv one

low budget maybe?

I guess, who knows what will happen. I feel bad as this drama would've done well on a main channel. I'm hoping maybe it'll cross at least 2-3 TRP on TV One but no one watches their dramas 😕. Aas was their last hit with Zain Baig-Hajra and had 1.1-1.6 TRPs, so I have hope since Yumna-Wahaj are in this and they are bigger names. I really do wish TV One made the title card better. It looks so 2000s GEO like.

I have only watched two TV one shows. The first was one of Shehroze Sabzwari and Mansha Pasha. In which Mansha married Shehroze who was a rich guy and Shehroze had to leave his house for his love.

The other was of Noor Hassan in which he left his first wife to marry his brother or cousin’s wife (I don’t remember). The cousin was Faizan Khwaja and female leads were Adla Khan and Zainab Ahmed.

And I only watched these shows because my mom watched them 😆

The first one I can’t remember name but second one is Kasak Raheygi. Kasak Rahey Gi still comes on USA TV One. It’s quite chaotic here for them as it’s all programs about law, immigration, and legal matters. Dramas have the weirdest timing. For a while they had Aas and Aye Mohabbat running at 10/11am instead of 7PM/8PM but I think they air in afternoon now.

I watched a good chunk of Ghughi with Adnan Siddiqui. It was pretty decent. I think it would’ve done well if promoted more as it was something different.

I really liked the OST. Loved the direction.

Very minute things but very impressive which I noticed in the OST.

One where Wahaj enters and looks back and it transitions to Yumna on the other end. A beautiful shot.

I am looking forward to the show. There is a certain bitter sweet, tragic yet hopeful vibe which is something that makes to intrigued about the show.

From the OST what I grasped is :

1. Jammi (Wahaj) and Sumbul (Yumna) were childhood besties and both had a very difficult childhood

2. This is my hunch - Jammi gets adopted by Noman who is an artist and a social worker of sorts. Noman helps such kids. So, Noman adopts Jammi. Jammi grows up to become an educated guy who wants to work for the betterment of the society.

Noman and Wahaj I guess will share a beautiful, heart warming father/mentor - Son/protege bond.

There was a small glimpse where Noman kisses Jammi on the forehead. It was so wholesome and I am looking forward to see their bond

3. Unfortunately Sumbul was left behind and today she works in brothel. Lookign forward to her journey.

4. Sumbul and Jammi will meet again. There were scenes where Jammi is heartbroken to see Sumbul like this. I guess she was in a drunk state.

Lookign forward to Jammi and Sumbul's story. From childhood besties to humdards is something that I am looking forward to.

5. Another track is of a girl who wants to become a cricketer. Can be an interesting track

6. Omair is one of Sumbul's clients I guess. He has his own track. Maybe of redemption?

All in all I wasn't impressed with the initial teasers but I LOVED the OST and m looking forward to the show.
